I'm already sick of watching Kobe make stupid faces all game long. Dude just acts stupid every chance he gets.

HAHA!! That's what I thought, but then why give people the option? Currently Kobe in a Knicks uniform is the second place cover and is not far behind number one. I mean, I know they are just doing it to drum up interest. But it's gonna look dumb if the Kobe/Knicks cover wins and they don't honor the results of the fan vote. I think all fans should vote for it because it would be ridiculous.

they should start putting arenas and cities, or jerseys and stuff, instead of players. something creative.

I agree with that. No one give the Knicks favors that Lakers or Celtics get. Where is our Eddy Curry for Amare deal. I swear Knicks and Knicks fans get no love. I have seen LeBron in NYK uni, Wade in a NYK uni and now Kobe in a NYK uni but you know they aren't here. Why doesn't someone go play this creul game with the clippers or some other team.

because they know we will eat it up, generates buzz, knicks fans seem to be pretty easily the most involved/obsessed of all nba fans in terms of news, buzz, rumors, gossip, etc. (partially because there are so many of us) and the rest of the league that holds resentment towards the wealth and power of NY and its sports franchises (especially the Yankees and free wheeling Knicks) like it.

I dont remember the Bobcats being one of the best teams of the '90s and defining a decade by their play. I dont remember the Bobcats being completely stacked in '97, only to be screwed by the NBA by one of the more absurd interpretations of a rule. I dont remember the Bobcats making it to two NBA finals in one decade and going to a game seven. I dont remember the Bobcats...

We've had a bad run lately, but all this self-loathing is bullshyt. Knicks are still one of the more premier franchises in sports. To hell with the bandwagoners who are going to jump back on once we get this thing right.

this is true, we had a good run in the 90s, similar to the mavs of the 2ks.

97 was cool. the 99 finals were a reach though.

even if you include the 90s you're still talking almost 40 years of nothingness. the 70s 80s and 2ks have almost completely sucked, outside of some blips on the radar.

and who will remember the mavs? no one, j ust like no one remembers the 94 knicks (outside of us, really0)

LOL, aint that the truth.

Knicks have made it to 8 championships & won 2 of them, at least that's something... that ranks 4th alltime... until Layden & Isiah came along the Knicks were a team to be proud of even if we hadn't won a title in many years.
