very few centers in NBA history that have averaged 7-8 apg. that's Jokic-like.

rebounding totals dont even tell the whole story, Sabonis is much better on offensive boards which is something we have really used to our advantage the past few years.

all that being said, its more about attitude. KAT just seems to have negative Marbury--esque energy that isn't uplifting the team. He doesn't get back on defense and is constantly complaining.

Maybe OG rerouted to a 3rd team like PHO for Green?

Towns is a bit of a child. The playoffs are a long run and every off game that Towns costs us wears down the chances of winning it all. And the moody, dark cloud that hangs around Towns like a necklace just gets worse.

It is not Towns per se. It is the fact that Brunson can get mugged in a series as well. I don't think Brunson's getting traded but a choice between the two I think is inevitable. That being said, we don't have forever to win.

Mark Williams and D.Brooks or G.Allen would improve our depth, shooting, rim protection and flexibility with Mitch seems he's often injured/rehabbing. While I am not convinced Brooks's current production will sustain - he does fit well with defensive intensity, toughness and would become our D.Green (which this team is sorely lacking). Hart could move back to the 2nd unit and no more adjusting for KAT. M.Williams gets his lobs, rim protects and becomes another (although slightly lesser) version of Mitch. Brunson (who's not going anywhere) doesn't have to focus on getting KAT his touches...

We would lose KAT's offensive potency but gain toughness, depth and reduce those boneheaded mistakes that offset much of KAT's positives

Harden has a player option for a bit over 40 mil next year. You stretch him, say two years at 25 per. Know at some point it ends badly but thats the price for NOW. Zuback is solid. Harden off the bench. 6man of year candidate. Zubac makes 18mm.

Says how important he is but if we trade him it solves the "Lose him for nothing" but does not solve who takes his place and his production.
The choice is not hard if there is a belief this team can make a bona fide run. While that is not a popular thought the last two weeks, it need be addressed.

You've got to have an extraordinary faith in KAT navigating the basketball court to trade Mitch while simultaneously believing Mitch is not a player made of glass.
