Obviously glad Knicks won

but also want to acknowledge B.Mathurin for the Pacers is the real deal. One might think he makes other Pacers expendable.

And what happened to Duarte? Sophomore slump or does the league have a book on him now.

Mathurin is a star in the making and someone we're gonna have to deal with for a long time.

This guy is my Knicks fan spirit animal. Can't even be really happy with a win because its the same problems that happen every game and we continue to repeat them. We could be up 35 points by half time and all I am thinking about is how are we going to lose this lead. There is no way we should be struggling to beat these teams missing most of their best players. The poster above talking about we continue to grow. This is a 2 season thing. Whatever growth you are seeing must be by the smallest increments humanly possible.

I wish this season could be better for you and others Clean, I truly do.

Knicks are tied for the 9th best overall record in the league as of today (number of total wins and 10th if you are doing % wins), tied with Dallas and a really well performing Indiana team.

Let's say that again: The Knicks are a top 10 team in the league. They don't FUBAR the 3 really bad, devastating loses within the last month or so and they are tied with Cavs at #6 best record in the entire league.

The teams ahead of the Knicks: Boston, Denver, Memphis, Nets, Milwaukee, Cavs, Pelicans, 76ers. All of those teams have rock solid experienced talent with only Cavs, Memphis (and Indiana) sporting a young rotation team like the Knicks. All of the teams above the Knicks have 1-2 solid superstars or upper echelon players on their respective teams with a dash of 1-off all stars on top of that.

Since Dec 4 (and that arbitrarily begins their 8-game win streak and includes just under 6 weeks of play), they are 12-6 and solidly locked in at the 4th most wins in the entire league for that time period.

Within that same time period they are top 3 in Net Rating. #5 in Offensive Rating, #2 in Defensive Rating. https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/advanced?sort=W&dir=-1&DateFrom=12%2F04%2F2022

For the entirety of the year, the Knicks are #10 in offensive Rating and #10 in defensive rating; #8 in net rating. https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/advanced?dir=A&sort=OFF_RATING

One can maybe start to get suspicious and think those are pretty good results and perhaps something good is actually going on.

But maybe those things are also a bar set too low for some.

We have no chance at Scoot or Wembayana so who cares? We are just treading in mediocrity despite all the above and the young rotation and extra future picks and track record for using them well.

It's really all good. Everyone has their own unique relationship with the team. I am def enjoying this part of the process unfolding

RJ was great until utter exhaustion caught up with him after missing five games. Very optimistic about team. We need to get an upgrade over Heartenstein and get a wing for the reserves. Would be Cam but Thins don't like him.

The first-half of the game, the 2nd half of the game .. complete difference ???
We play the Pacers two more times this season .. Twice in our final 3 games of the season.
