Do YOU guys prefer Randle over Sabonis? How about RJ and Randle? would you do that?

I just see Randle Cook Sabonis damn near every game they play. He’s not head or tails above Randle and I would argue the Pacers are just as badly built a team as the Knicks are when it comes to fit. The only real different is Randle has been putting on a Marbury act all season once the trade rumors started and the Knicks never tried to check him.

Well, if Randle was playing like last years Randle, Sac might have been interested. And we would not be interested. So it looks like either way, Haliburton for Sabonis, was bound to happen, regardless what the knicks did. Unless we offered more picks. But Sabonis right now is playing better than Randle, so that might have been the tipping point.

Also, Sabonis offense is not the #1 option and he's ok with that. Randle from the outside operates like a #1 but his performance is like a 6th man. Plus Randle's trade value is low and Sabonis is high.

i have no idea what the kings are doing nor what the knicks could have or would have offered up. seems like if they could give up some possible protected picks for reddish, maybe they would have gone further to get in place over the pacers. too late now. this may get real interesting if they cant unload anyone. what happens to reddish? what happens if/when rose gets back? they still have time to pull off something.

So the main moves left are: Simmons fate, Harden trade, Beal’s fate. And maybe a Grant trade (if he is traded, likely it will be either to the Hawks or Wiz). Don’t see us doing much of anything. Maybe Fournier to the pacers for Hield. Maybe we shed Kemba or Burke. As ever, our eternal quest for an actual starting PG continues…

This FO is under the impression they are on the right track, they want hold on to our mediocre young guys like they're blue chips pieces

THE KNICKS spoke with the KINGS regarding FOX, you think they didn't ask what would it take for Haliburton?

I see why the Kings would rather Sabonis than Randle because I would trade Randle for him 10 times out of 10. It just seems like teams make dumb decisions that benefits everyone else but the Knicks. They are dumb enough to give up on Hali but not dumb enough to want Randle over Sabonis.

Jake Fischer said Knicks aren’t moving IQ, Toppin and Grimes. If that’s the plan than just focus on moving Fournier, Walker, and Burks, free up minutes for IQ, Toppin, Grimes and Reddish, and clear cap space for summer spending. Likely Brunson or another Pg.

Randle is Marbury 2.0 he tanked his value by acting like a weird diva. To the point the dumbest organization in the league took Sabonis who I actually think is a worse player than Randle.

It’s not Classic Knick stupid, but man oh man is it still stupid. The FO completely flubbed this offseason paying a bunch of journey men actual money, then Thibs has regressed also as much as Randle.

Even Perry who is supposed to be plugged in didn’t know Haliburton was on the table and now they are looking at Harrison Barnes to take minutes from Cam and RJ playing. You can’t make this **** up how much this FO is out of touch with reality. Definition of a head in the sand approach to everything.

Exactly that, rumored. Just like in free agency, we're reportedly interested in everyone looking for their payday.

Knicks have young pieces and a whole lot of picks. Why wouldn't Sacramento want news out there about our interest to drive up the asking price?

I really don't believe we'd be looking at another wing, unless we're consolidating Burks/Fournier and drastically upgrading. It doesn't make sense, and our FO has been very level headed to date.

I'm sure it won't be the last rumor we hear before Thursday, whether there's any basis for it or not.
