I missed it but that is really bad. Not sure what to do about Randle. He is horrible in the role he is in. He touches the ball and I expect something bad to happen.

They will hit some shots but it will also lead to plenty of turnovers and horrible possessions. RJ had the hot hand and of course they stopped looking for him

Fiz needs to go , he is either A) Coaching the stupidity of Morris and Randle or B) They have no respect for him and are doing what they want either way its not good. That last play out of a time no less is all you need to know about Fiz's Xs and Os.

Definitely frustrated after this game but not ready to give up on Fiz. No coaching continuity if the Knicks keep firing coaches. Fiz needs one of Payton or Smith to be a reliable penetrating point guard. Frank has been great but there needs to be a consistent point that puts pressure on the d.

Crush does it make any sense to you about Fizz having his pgs dump the ball off and hide in the corner? seems to be playing to their weakness even more. Why not keep Frank or DSJ up top running PnR

It doesn't make sense.

It's gotten to the point where I feel better if Taj or Mitch get the ball at the top of the key over Randle.

We can point out all the things that went wrong and could be improved (as there are a lot of them)... for me, I was hoping after the last Dallas game they would continue to play with that increased intensity and fight that they played with against Dallas. I get the revenge factor, but this team would only have a chance to win (with current roster) by playing the frantic, intense style that we saw in those two wins vs KP. That's why Frank looked so great in those wins - it's his strength. Disappointed we didn't see that grit last night and blew a decent sized lead. Why can't we build the defensive culture where Frank is diving to get a loose ball vs Doncic - it's what many long-time NY fans would love and we have a few guys that exhibit this fight (Frank, Mitch, Morris, RJ, Taj). And yes, I def agree that Fiz's decision-making is suspect and never a good look for the coach when you blow a lead to a lower-tier team at home. But it's about fight more then X and O's right now (once we re-establish and get decent - then it becomes about X and O's)

Possibly. Was more curious as to why he was over on the back court side to start the play. Think he should have started at the 3pt line. Let them pass to the back court and burn clock. May be the reason why he was a tick late for shot attempt. But like you said, also played the ball a bit. Still a hell of a shot with plenty of Frank's pressure on the shooter.

Frank is cool and he has his moments, but lets keep it 100,opposing guards are killing us

They needed a penetrator with that zone. Smith can’t be that lazy with his fouls either. The Knicks needed Smith tonight. Also, why isn’t Smith bringing up the ball when he is in the game? The guy penetrates and draws the defense.

Agreed. He started off with an aggressive score. Then had a couple of dumb fouls where the big switched with him for some reason. But he needs to understand that he cant get back into the rhythm of things if he is not on the floor. Has to be more heads up. Agree with some that both he and Frank should be limiting the number of hand offs and streak to the corner sets.
