Man great ball movement and getting KP very involved.... terrible defense even if we played mediocre defense we'd be up by 10... just ashame

If the team could consistently move the ball like this and Melo not try to take over even if they don't play enough defense, they are at least playing the right way on offense, are fun to watch and you could figure that with some better coaching for defense, a few changes to the rotation players wise we could be a really good team next year.

But we all know this is the trap game. Melo and Rose don't play this way usually. If they even just played this way on offence, to move the ball and to not always look for their own number, they would be good assets, defensive flaws and all.

I don't think he's done a good job this season. I like him... but he's done a poor job coaching the team. Phil has put him in a bad situation on several fronts though, creating the Melodrama, not disciplining Rose for going AWOL, forcing him to let Rambis be the defensive coach.

But, yeah, well coached teams know the rules and the game situations.

Good coaching staffs alert their players of the foul situations when closing the qtrs to let them know not to foul or be so aggressive.

I'm pretty confident our timing is coming
KP has altered the way this franchise is heading.
Willy is another step.
Neeed to draft well this summer again and open up cap space to sign younger free agents.

We won't be a joke a year and half from now. I never said that before but I'm confident we are headed in the right direction long term.

Melo and Rose were playing this way consistently earlier in the season. This reminds me of a Nov/Dec game when they were playing well. Part of is they are older and they can't do it every night. Part of it is that the team defense is terrible, so they need an "A" offensive game to win most nights.

TMac had that one nice game here - his first game against OKC in the Garden.

Billups hit that one shot in Miami.

I don't remember a single good Jalen moment. He was one of my favorite players for a while when he was on Michigan/Denver/Pacers
