Its the same tune of the past decades, but this team really looks like they hit their high point a month ago and have already packed it in. Melo is a huge disappointment and I think I'm ready ti turn to the dark side on him.

I've reached that point as well. Have tried to keep the faith but it's just not happening and sad to say it never will. Melo's done in terms of being a leader and franchise player, we need to aatempt to get what we can from the Clippers (or whoever) whilst we still can. We need to rebuild around KP with no Melo getting in the way.

A question for such informed fans that have been watching this game closely. What is Melo's +/-? KP's? How many turnovers did we have to start 2nd Quarter with Melo on the bench? I'll wait...

It's way more than that though isn't it. It's the whole culture of the club. Its the loser mentality and the fact we don't now even look a play off contender in a weak East. It's time to cut our losses and rebuild properly. We need rid of Melo to do that. That's the brutal reality.

NoT my job man. Dolan pays someone a MILLION DOLLARS A MONTH to get **** done. The KP draft pick aside he's doing a pretty brutal job of it so far.

Errrr, I do get that. It's Jackson's job to coerce him or do whatever is required to get him to do that.

He just got them back into this game by himself. They don't win when he doesn't play and he has a no trade clause. Realistic solutions to help the team are great. That one is not realistic and might not help.

Not winning and building through the draft is our only way to rebuild properly. If you honestly think this Knicks team will ever challenge with Melo at the helm your delusional. Melo will always have runs of good play and scoring as he did for a few minutes there. Then his poor defense kicked in and he got flamed 3 shots running. It is what it is and I get the loyalty to Melo but the reality is his best days are way behind him and we'd be better trying to work an exit that benefited both parties.
