Ladies (Carmelo haters),Carmelo appears to now have his legs u dear him. He has done a few things in the game Vs. the Bulls that I have not seen in years. He put the ball on the floor and attacked the paint like Lebron; be elevated for an alley hoop, he was finishing plays like a monster, and most of all, he was defending, vocal and he was leading his teammates. This Carmelo is a superstar folks
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

You are correct .He did have spring and appeared quick despite back to backs. Nice to see. A healthy Melo is a happy and good fellow

Also he has been shooting at a higher percentage again. He was on fire in the preseason but then had a sharp decline as Clyde predicted. He appears to be back. Also, playing with a healthy Afflalo has helped him a lot. He has not played with anything close to a guy like that in NY.

Pretty impressive that it was the second night of a back to back.

He looks great. Im glad hes silencing his critics. KP is definitely learning how to take over a game from him too. Things are falling into place with melo re establishing himself and afflalo and KP becoming great complimentary players this season.

actually he did... JR Smith and team won 54 games behind those two, Tyson's defense and all the role players who could bomb away. That JR Smith was a one year appearance.

But I am with in the thought that Carmelo has a talented supporting cast. KP challenges so many shots and when KP is at the 4 we have a rim protecting wall. I am so very enamored with the combo of Melo/KP at the forwards. Vs the Bulls KP's box score was quite, but I watched him constantly (I DVR) and many times he kept Noah and Gibson off the boards with boxing out 101. He changes so many shots, and he can play anywhere on the floor making him and Melo a truly interchangeable inside outside attack. Even though KP has been scoring much he's getting a lot of attention and you feel that teams don't want to get lit up by this kid. Enter AA who has such a nice rounded skill set to really clean up. Awesome midrange, streaky from 3 at best but has other options when that shot isn't falling...

Im sticking with my 45 win call... I do think this is a good squad that will continue to get better. I said early on KOQ should play center. I thought part of his problem was he's just too slow to come out and chase today's 4s, but he's REALLY good at the 5. Good range on that jumper, excellent passer and tough guy. Lousy post game but he can finish around the hoop just fine.

14-14 and the good traits continue. KP's impact is going beyond the stat sheet, guards are playing better, AA is great, KOQ is bringing stuff and we have a legit star who can impose his will on a game. Really enjoying the season and this process.

What I want to know is why is fisher so reluctant to play Williams and Carmelo together? Two things that are super evident: Carmelo is a hell of a playmaker, and Williams is a great finisher. In the second half, if Calderon is not making shots or when he is reluctant to shoot the ball, just pull him out and ride Carmelo, AA, Williams, KP and KO. Those five players are more then capable of causing havoc at both ends of the floor. If one of them Needs a breather, rotate Lance and Gallo. Those 7 guys have proven to be our money players; thus, we are to use them to the max. If the idea is to retain Calderon and RoLo for now, so play them in the first half, but adjust by not using them in the second half only if there is truly a need. Simply, change the starting lineup in the second half by forcing the opposing teams to adjust to our speed.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Carmelo once again brought his A game to the Garden tonight; unfortunately, he did not get much help from anyone other then Lance. Aflalo found himself guarding or being guarded by bigger dudes and he was basically marginalized. KO's presence was purely missed, and Wiliams was once again mis-used. There was a moment where he and Carmelo shared the floor, and a nice pick and roll happened between the two. You would think fisher would run the play again until it was stopped by the other team, no, he rather elected to pull Williams off the floor.

There was also a nice PnR sighting between Melo and RoLo at one point. Yeah, you'd think they'd try to run more plays that work well for them on a night like this.

I saw a lot of great things between Carmelo and his teammates last night. We should have won that game.

Knicks played pretty well - they just got beat. It wasn't a "bad" loss. They just have to keep working to improve.

Do you all agree that Carmelo is by far our best scorer and PG on the roster?

Yes definitely, although it also speaks to how badly we need to solve the PG situation. We don't need to rush it, but entering next season, i am hoping we have a plan in place there.
