I agree. I didn't think he looked that good in Vegas.

He is playing with actual NBA players that have had more time in the offense. I am not surprise at all. If his shot is on he is an above average player.

Wasn't so great last season. Looks much more polished, confident.

Well you hope a player looks more polished his second year. Still, last year Galloway rebounded, defended, and had a great A/TO rate for a guard. Those are qualities you would think he can build on and then you throw in he has an offensive track record and you put together an offseason to help his game progress.

How soon we forget that Gallo was one of the better rookies and showed a lot last year. All Rookie 2nd Team after coming from the D League.

Didnt finish the season that way, thats why Im surprised he looks so sharp so soon.

Knicks would not win this game if it were against an NBA team.

Gallo had a VERY good rookie year after coming from the D League. Not sure what criteria guys are using to judge a rookie that played well compared with other rookies.

Im not arguing about Galloway's abilities, he looked shaky in SL as opposed to Grant who looked like he belonged from day one. I believe the competition for minutes got his attention.

that is a petty statement. o'quinn is going to be good for the knicks... as i have been saying for months.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I agree. He and Lopez are my favorite two signings this summer.

He was good for Orlando. I was shocked they let him leave.

I agree. I worry that their playing big will lead to a lot of open 3s, as they'll be slower on the perimeter and a lot of teams playing small and stretching the floor these days.

Our depth at the 3 is so worrying. We have Early and Dwill. We are in for a rude awakening when Melo gets taken out of the game against NBA opposition.

if phil wants to stack the paint as opposed to guard the 3, we are gonna get killed.

also, we can't stop penetration and that leads to lots of open 3's.

That goes without saying, but if Gallo had played any better he would've been All Rookie 1st Team, so you need to have some F'n perspective about how he played.

All-Rookie 2nd Team 2015
PLAYER POS TEAM FG% PPG RPG APG BLKPG

Bojan Bogdanovic F Brooklyn Nets .453 9.0 2.7 0.9 0.1
Langston Galloway G New York Knicks .399 11.8 4.2 3.3 0.3
Marcus Smart G Boston Celtics .367 7.8 3.3 3.1 0.3
Zach LaVine G Minnesota Timberwolves .422 10.1 2.8 3.6 0.1
Jusuf Nurkic C Denver Nuggets .446 6.9 6.2 0.8 1.1

Gallo played badly offensively last season I don't care how many PPG he got.

Agreed agreed agreed. Perimeter defense so important in the league today and we are weakest at the 2 and 3.
