He has been in ny for awhile and he has struggled. The guy obviously works on his body. It would be nice if he worked on finishing at the basket and if he could hit his shot with some consistency.

Shumpert has been decent from 3 in every season he's been in the league, and certainly gives effort on defense. he helps in rebounding and has no issue passing the basketball.

Sometimes you just have to realize what players are. At least he knows he needs to work on finishing, but until then...keep on driving and not settle.

Maybe I made a mistake. I know he shot under 40% from the field overall last year. What did he shoot from three?

33% last year
40% the previous year

The fact he shot 40% during his injury riddled

Season but following it with low 30s healthy season

Is the truth teller

If he were to finish at 40% this season then

Maybe there is something there but no he has not been

I thought it was poor last year. 33% for a two guard isn't going to cut it in the triangle.

Right but he's shown improvement in not only his 3's but 2's as well. Not everyone is stephen curry straight out of college

Tyson probably brought us our best value mid-season last year. Clubs were knocking on the door with deals. I think most fans thought it was a bad idea, but most fans are slow to come to grips with asset management time frames. By the time most fans are coming to grips with the urgency of a situation, the opportunity has already passed. Tyson's value to be dealt was highest then. Not pulling the trigger then was a mistake. This team could have also had Lowry plus extra picks and additional quality rookie talent THIS YEAR.
