Sounds good to me Papa, it takes too much to hate

First let me start of by saying, I AM SORRY, I let let my emotions/passion get the best out of me at times
I have acted very immature, I was trying to get under your skin but I never meant to attack your personal life

Sometimes we get so caught up on proving ourselves right and sometimes proving others wrong, we forget we are here in the first place

If we stuck around during Isiah, we are still posting now, we are all diehard fans, although God is constantly testing us

With exception to a few posters here, some of which most probably would be able to figure some out...
The "douches" posters I am talking about generally don't post anymore, at least not under those names
One of which I just had a bit of drama going
But they like to get under the skin of people, bringing up the past just to bash, and constantly attacking other posters here, I didn't appreciate that one bit
Even though I was fine you agreeing with some of their opinions, you started to attack similar to those guys

I don't think you realized it but they did it out of pure enjoyment to urk someone behind a monitor

Well we both can be strongly opinionated but we surely don not lack passion
Probably most of this started from the trade from Melo (Dolan's fault) and just got multiplied when NYK didn't match Lin's offer
A lot of this hate started from the constant need to prove each other wrong/right, and it just never stopped
The forum was divided in to the Pre Melo Knick's and that path that Walsh built and how it could have improved in addition to how NOT matching Lin's offer was/was not in the best interest of the Knick's

I agree with TFK and DK about some things, I would even admit I don't like certain things about Melo's character, but I do think Melo is very talented and is better than Lin
Although Lin makes others around him better and his abilities allow his team mates to play a better fit at times
In the end, you need both pieces, actually even more, in order to contend

I have said in the past, I hold Woodson more responsible than Melo, because he allows things to happen
Even the roster itself was divided, never mind the fans

While Lin showed he was a big part of our future and could have been a piece to the puzzle
Instead of trying to find a balance between the two, Woodson took sides and favored Melo, but in reality we needed a PG (or player) that could penetrate/finish/facilitate and constantly push the tempo

Some players are leaders, some are great defenders on top of scorers, and some are facilitators, some are all of the above
Melo is talented but he needs a PG to say NO to him, that was why Billups has much more success with him though he was starting to decline in Denver already

I know you are a big fan of Melo,
This is not a knock on Melo, he is a talented scorer but he needs to play the role he played on TEAM USA/ALL STAR team, that is at his bes
Moving forward, with our constant losing and media attacking him, I don't know if Melo would stay

but if he does, I don't think it is IMPOSSIBLE to build a team with him
Although I hope he doesn't opt out and is willing to take less in 2015
I don't think it is an easy task but we would need to find a lot of younger bodies with versatile skills, athleticism, speed/mobility, and a different system/coach

I think Melo needs to play with a highly efficient player, if he cannot get a CP3, Lebron, Durant, Paul George etc... the next best thing that might be available is

To start off,
PF/C, like Aldridge/Love

a PG, Dragic *player option* and/or Lin (BOTH, totally depending on salaries and how we address our PG situation this summer)

then he needs a SG/SF that has the ability to go inside and out on both ends, Rudy Gay was who I was targetting but he seems to have found a new home in the Kings because his value was dropping, making him more attainable at a lower price for the future

Someone like Battum would be perfect or a YOUNG Marion would be ideal, maybe Jeff Green *who does have a player option* or Thad Young *player option as well*

Then we would still need to sign vet min players and get their bird rights, early bird rights, in addition to our 2015 draft pick, hopefully find a way 2 acquire to 2 2nd rounders to develop, and still sign solid vet min players to contribute in 2015

But I think this is the best possible lineup moving forward and one in theory that would be able to challenge The Pacer's with Love/Aldridge at C to negate Roy Hibbert's rebounding/shot blocking ability

I have a lot my scenarios, even starphuqing this summer, but I hope Melo does not go to Miami with Lebron, Wade, Bosh, because then we would have to worry about

Pacer's and Heat

Bulls/Nets

in addition to many upcoming teams with young talent, draft picks, and salary cap

Sucks to be him? Doesn't suck to be any Knicks fan?!

Here you go again!! Seriously dude, what kind of relationship do you guys have?? You talk about Tkf and DK7 getting picked on but it seems like you three are the bullies around here since you all are so quick to triple team any member that disagree's with whatever you say!

I normally don't care but this is in every gotdamn thread...get off each other nuts already.

A more reasonable question might be why do Fish and a few others post several dozen messages a day hating them? I'm starting to find it odd that you care so much about my posting too though.

I care because I am forced to read the same non-sense in every thread and the majority of the argument is being initiated by you and DK7.

Eventually, Fish, Jrod and TKF will tire themselves out but you two always seem to jump in keep the fire burning. I honestly can't believe you guys haven't been banned yet.

Anyway, I'm going back in lurk mode. good luck

Sounds like you just don't want a discussion. DK and I keep it to basketball. The others have been doing name-calling. I wouldn't say they deserve a ban - maybe a warning but that's not my call. You must be upset and not serious about that. A ban without even a warning? I think that only goes to people who make terrible racist or other terrible comments and don't apologize.

Perhaps you didn't read DK's racist rant about Melo's Puerto Rican genetics. Or maybe you just agree with him. I dont know how you consider that just keeping it to basketball. Or his psychological fangs about Melo's narcisism, basketball talk?

I don't know the post. Yellowboy mentioned something about that but I couldn't find it.
I'd have to see what you're talking about.

The DK Quote was as follows.....

i think i know the one but looks can be deceiving. he is not genetically gifted the way that jordan, garnett, payton, miner etc. were but all that means is that he should be working much harder to achieve that level. if he did he would have the quickness necessary to play on both sides of the ball at the small forward position. people like to tout that he is a matchup nightmare on offense but he remains a liability on defense and this will dog him. people like to say that he needs to conserve energy but i call bull**** on that. he's part puerto rican, right? i played football, baseball, and basketball with plenty of borinquenos in my day in new york. most of them had conditioning issues in spite of their athletic skills. native new yorkers know exactly what i am talking about. in baseball you can get away with it but not basketball.

so lets be clear you are posting this because by posting this you assert that this is a racist statement?

if yes, tell me something: are you a native new yorker born and raised or are you an outsider like crushalot?

if you are new york born and raised have you played all the major sports on some level in new york city? grade school, high school, college, playgrounds, ymca, etc etc

just curious, because my statement is based on my personal experience and backed up by epidemiological studies related to obesity rates and diabetes rates in the city.

looking forward to a fruitful chat now that melo has catalyzed the downfall of his own era.

Yup, this is definitely keeping the discussion to basketball, 100%. I suggest you stop before you expose yourself further. I can tolerate your dislike for melo, not a big fan either, but when you start bringing the discussion to a racial level it's time to stop and consider what you're writing. Crushalot is an outsider, okay what are you suggesting? And why can't someone of puerto rican descent be a native new yorker, surely many puerto ricans have been "born and raised" in the city, the same as any other "native new yorkers". The sad thing is you are using this ridiculous racially-charged argument to suggest that melo is out of shape, which is utterly ridiculous. As I've said before I'm sure he's in better shape than 99% of the people posting here. Who are you to call a professional athlete that plays 40+ minutes a night fat?

Papabear Says

This is the same analogy white racists and the KKK used against black people. We were called lazy, couldn't play sports, couldn't read, genetically almost a monkey. Dagger and Crush this really paint a picture who dk7 really is.The man has a dark side that is very scary. His grammar is excellent and he articulates like a college professor but so did the racists who held us back for years and they still are. I never new the man could stoop that low. His hate is beyond basketball and for anyone to defend him have a problem. I'm very surprised Martin didn't address this. Maybe he didn't see it because if he did he would address it.

Papabear Says

The sad part is that he feels too proud to just come out and say I'm sorry I made a mistake in using racist statements regarding Carmelo Anthony because he is part PR. I should have kept it basketball.

LMAO@U and all over this FUCKING knick team.

Papabear Says

He refuse to Apologize for making racial statements regarding Carmelo Anthony and his PR heritage. Every PR should take offense to dk7 racial slurs. This man is going crazy. Fancy words but a racist heart. That's really who he is. APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT CARMELO ANTHONY.

wow, accusing people of racism is pretty strong.. Not sure where I see any of that in Dk's post....

Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF
