What have teh Knicks accomplished in the past 14 years? Wow one 54 season. OKC has built through the draft and been competitive for a long time and will continue. 90% of our fans would love to have the talent that the backward town Oklahoma has

So you think NY can go into four seasons or more knowing that we dont have a chance to be competitive just to get high draft picks and hope a star falls into our lap. You have one, get another and build around them

Knicks have just $10 mil in player options (JR and Felton) Move them and others now for pieces and let Melo know that they will get one otr more quality running mates instead of surrounding him with this group. Felton, Shumpert, Jr and others hsould all be moved instead of trading trhe one star we have

I guess is that time of the month for you lol. Anyway it sounds easy to trade guys like jr but nobody is gonna take him. I think melo is a great scorer but i dont put him on the level of lebron kobe and durant. Also he is moving into his 30's so giving him a monster contract is risky

Dont believe the blogs that default. JR is tradeable as our most of our players to fill roles for contenders as the trade deadline nears. Even Amare and Bargs might be moveable for a decent player next year as teams juggle. You wait out a year to rebuild with a star in place rather than undergo a four yeasr rebuild hoping that lottery balls land a young stud. Talent wins in this league and every true contender has two stars in place. You dont shed the one we have, you shed the averageness around him and get ready to lure another in 15/16

You are assuming Melo comes back next year.
You are assuming by trading Amare, JR etc we will get players with expiring contracts only to preserve cap space.
You are assuming that the player that we can get back for our trash will not be trash.
You are assuming that star players will want to come here. It did not happen last time unless you consider Amare a star.

That is a lot to assume.

He came in as this guy who preached accountability, but it was all talk. He's not really a guy that will get in a players face or sit a player for a long stretch if needed. Guys like JR and Felton can do whatever on the court and what does Woody do? NOTHING! If Bargs is loafing, he should pull him and get in his face, but what does Woody do? NOTHING! He's just a fraud.
