No fun because the guys that kept this thread going when we were struggling are NO WHERE to be found. There is one SUPER GALLO whore who has been mia during the win streak but, he showed his ass up to post after we lost to Chicago.

You keep saying that. Who are you talking about? It's odd because I haven't seen you here that much.

my Pops just passed away after losing his fight with Kidney disease. It wasn't a quick thing but, I feel blessed that I had the chance to run up to New York and spend the last couple of weeks with him. So, no, you haven't seen me around Here much.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

You may not be the only one missing due to a personal issue, though.

Got to admit you may be right and I'm probably allowing my issues to effect my normal filter. Shouldn't be calling anyone out since I'm a Knicks geek.

Wow, just looking at a post on another site Cope is a great Gallo replacement and possible upgrade. DO not like to say that while he is injured but really as a forward Cope gives you better shooting. I know career wise it is a small sample but season wise I think Cope has played enough good minutes. Now he will be judge again stating Saturday.

Wilson Chandler replacement coming soon.

I give a few peeps a hard time for their love of Gallo but, I'd never go so far as to call Cope an upgrade. I like Gallo now and I loved him as a Knick......he is better than Cope in almost every catagory. Better at rebounding, passing, defense and is just a better all around shooter. I haven't checked the stats but, Cope MAY be a better 3point shooter but, I find myself doubting that too. Gallo is a very good player....just a tier below Allstar in my opinion.

Cope is a scorer and has impressed me and I am happy to have him on this team. I think he needs to get stronger; definitely needs to improve his rebound rate.

He really needs to work on his footwork, mainly lateral movement. It seems to be his wost problem on the defensive end. He doesn't know how to properly move laterally.

Here are a few numbers posted on KNickerbloger by Frank on Cope

Copeland is the #4 roll-man in the NBA (1.37 PPP, shooting 60% overall and 52% from 3 point range off a PNR or PNP) according to Synergy? And did you know his PPP off the roll/pop is better than Kevin Durant, Lebron James, and Tyson Chandler?

Player A: 19.9 p/36, TRB 8.3, TS 59, 3P% 42.6, AST% 5.7

Player B: 17.9 p/36, TRB 8.9, TS 56.1, 3P% 37.3, AST% 11.2

Those are some serious numbers. Now roles are different which contributes to the numbers but Cope is a rookie with short upside and Gallo has a higher upside given his age. However value goes to Cope. next year is the key though. Can Cope keep up his numbers with more playing time?

Gallo, for whatever reason, is an injury prone player. Outside his 2nd year in the NBA when he played 81 games, he's had a number of ailments, starting with his bad back as a rookie. (maybe we link everything back to that)

Copeland looks like a real deal scorer - his moves are pretty fluid and opponents haven't figured out how to stop him. Yellowboy90 noted that he's extremely efficient in the pick and roll, which is a tough fundamental play to stop. He's also devastating in isolations, shoots a high % from 3pt range. Even if you zeroed in on him, he's a tough player to neutralize on O.

Of course we gave up too much....and we allowed Denver so much flexibility to improve with the trade for yrs to come they don't have a shrunk window like we do.

So the question everyone wants to know, is... can the Somber quotient increase to double digits BEFORE the end of the playoffs?

Flexibility man, and .300 ball, that's what life's all about.

Who needs second seeds?

Can you back that statement up with examples. Knicks will only have Melo making the max in 2 years.

Gallo is known to be injury prone player , but the love for him to succeed from his faithful here has blinded them to this fact.

He started the yr and that's all that matters, when you can't stay on the court you are what we thought you were (Injury prone) And the coach is suspect , he didn't advance with the deepest team in the NBA. Along with the paperclipps, both might be going home tonight.

The classless "I told you so" post.
You appear to mistakenly think that I wanted to keep and build around Gallo and company. (Otherwise I can't make sense of your post.)
