Knicks need to dig in on D and hope to keep the pace slow.

But the whole reason we got Felton was because he's a legit smart veteran penetrator and distributor with a track record.

Felton is a teletubby. distributor? He probably averages like 3-4 assists per game.

He was playing pretty good to start the year. What do you think has changed between now and then? Maybe all the hand and other injuries are just adding uo

Or maybe every team in the league knows exactly what we will do all game long? Becuase we don't have a offensive system?

I've hated watching every game of this road trip- has there ever been a road trip as bad as this one? Can't wait to get Melo and Tyson back.

The injuries, and the (chocolate) chip he had on his shoulder has fallen off. I wasn't particularly impressed with him at all this year to be honest. He's a brick factory and misses way too many lay-ups. I liked him his first time here, but he just doesn't seem good enough to the starter on a strong team.

My Stages of Raymond Felton

1) Liked him first run with Knicks. Perhaps every PG just looks so much better in Pick n Roll centric system (see: Chris Duhon, Lin)
2) What the hell happened to him in Portland?
3) Dammit I wanted Lin back
4) Grunwald is genius! We are kicking ass and Felton + Kidd together was a MUCH better move than Lin.
5) Currently:

WTF is going on with our PG situation???

Bingo!!! It is all on the coach. We don't have any offensive system in place. Woodson has absolutely no set plays. Woodson is the total opposite of Doc Rivers.

We do though. We're basically running MDA's system right? So if anything we can blame our woeful offense on MDA.

Yeah well, there are definitely people here who will blame MDA if the Yankees lose to the Red Sox or sequestration takes holds with spending cuts. Whether you choose to beone of them is up to you.

I like Pringles and think he got a raw deal here. I was speaking somewhat tongue in cheek.

I think most teams in the league are running a PnR heavy offense now due to the rule changes making it almost impossible to stop a good PG coming off a screen.

There are so many things not working for our team even before the injuries. I dunno what to blame: injuries? age? predictable offense? horrible defense? players? coaches? management?

For all I know we'll get healthy right before the playoffs and go on a monster run and everyone will forget about the regular season.

And because of that, he had to play Melo entire 2nd halves to compensate for him not knowing how to get the team going without him.

I've been critical of Woody as well. Mainly it's the double teaming and constant switching on D that i HATE.

But George Karl has come out and said he doesn't have any set plays either this season. It's basically just RUN RUN RUN ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. Easier to do w/ a young team + distributor in Lawson and Iggy and Vet Andre Miller than our squad I guess.

So..both the Knicks and the Nugs don't really run set plays. Tough to say that's the only/main factor in why we're not doing well.

Yes, you can see the Knicks have no real system in place. The offense is simply...Melo, get us 30, shoot many 3's and a few pick and rolls.

George Karl has a team that is capable of running and making the right decisions. We have some old and low IQ players that need structure and not the amount of freedom that they're getting.

If he were on the KNicks we'd have Blake Griffin jammies.
