I think Miami took philly's heart the other night in a blow out, they don't look confident.

I know shump made the mistake but Melo should have dumped it off to Amar'e. He over thinks a lot of his passing. Its not the kick out pass it's the cross court pass. It's not the dump off its the diagonal pass. Keep it simple.

Best thing for Shumpert would be to be on the floor at the same time as Prigs. He can't really handle the ball right now, isn't 100 percent, but Shump can cut to the rim and Pablo is good at finding cutters. Beats Shumpert trying to do too much.

I agree with you there, yellowboy. Philly had four guys in the paint. Felton, Stat and Shumpert were all open and Melo made the most difficult pass there.

Right now this looks like a team with its crap together on D and hopefully it holds up.

You might be on to something Gustav. That would require Shump to come off the bench though with the way Woody uses Pablo.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Philly got caught in a tough situation with the 2 top teams bac2bac. Knicks have to take advantage of games like this and just get the win. Gotta bank these kinds of games now so they don't hurt you when the schedule gets tough.

I agree. Shump said he wasn't coming back until he was 100 percent but that's clearly not the case. He's playing hard though. Just needs time to get his timing back.

If I'm Woodson I'd start reducing Felton's minutes right away and let prigioni take them so he can work with Shumpert.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Looking at the box score I noticed that Felton's taken the 2nd most shots on the team including four threes.

Then I looked at his career #s from 3.

Am I crazy or should Felton pretty much not be shooting from 3 as anything other than a last resort end of shot clock thing?

Does it say anything about his basketball IQ that he hasn't really adjusted the # of 3s he's taken throughout his career despite being a 33% career shooter from outside?

Knicks need to start flashing Chandler to FT line for an easy shot. Hit a couple and then make the D play him which will open the pass to Melo. There are ways to stop teams from fronting the post. Do that or swing quickly and have Melo seal his man on the opposite side for even better post position.
