If we had CP3 instead of Melo, I would say we are a contender

There are so many match up problems for the Clips if Ny is patient. Clips can not really guard Melo or Amar'e. Stat needs to make his shots and not rush.

As for the D. Novak and STAT can not be the only bigs ever unless the Knicks are up by 20.

I mean, you can't get up for the Clippers, which are awesome right now, you suck! The losing team excuse isn't working today. Why? Because its never been about the opposing team, its always been about the mentality of this team. What, guys, you think you won the championship the first two weeks of the season? Wake the freak up!
Agreed. The defense is very lazy. i think age and lack of speed also factor in

Knicks don't look good but the game is still very winnable. Knicks are lucky to only be down by single digits.

54% allowed to the Clippers

Go ahead, call yourself champs! Play some D first!

No mention of Melo's first half performance?

Melo: 20 points, 7 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
CP3: 16 points, 5 assists, 2 boards, 2 steals and 0 blocks.

The reason why I love our chances during the 2nd half, is because Amar'e and J.R only combined for 7 points off 2/11. I can't picture this happening (once again) during the 2nd half. One of these key players will get it going and if both turn it around? LAC better watch out because out Knicks can turn an 8 point deficit into an 8 point lead faster than you can say 'score'.

With the same roster we have now? Just swap Melo for CP3? Your sure about that?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Woodson is suppose to be a defensive minded coach yet he hasnt shown much to this team. If we keep playing soft lazy defense we wotn get past Round 1 in the playoffs

Melo is 6-14

CP3 is 6-8

Why/How does this always go right over your head??

Never mind - no need to answer the obvious

I'm not. J.R and Stoudemire failed us but as a team we've out boarded LAC by the count of 20/18 and we're only down 8 points despite the fact LAC shot 53.8 from the field. Love, love, LOVE our chances come the 2nd half.

Melo with a great 1st half, really the only one keeping us in this game.
20 points, 7 boards, an assist, a block and a steal.

I guess I can say that I like our chances for the same reason that NYK did, both Amare and JR can't be this bad in the 2nd, atleast one if not both is going to go off (a bit).

Knicks just need to focus in and play Knicks BB in the 2nd half. Stop with the lazy passes and half ass defense. Get into our passing game and get some ball and player movement. It's not a big lead, so they should be able to make a quick run and get this game going our way.

i doubt this very seriously. CP3 has not had that much success in the playoffs, not that Melo is a playoff stud.
