Sheed is gonna take alot of Tyson's minutes if he can stay healthy.

25 minutes or less for Tyson might keep him healthy and flu-less for the playoffs

You don't stop on poor Tyson. On the real the way Sheed is going he is going to keep all the big men minutes low which is a great thing. When camby gets healthy and your best friend Amar'e comes back the minutes should be where everyone can stay fresh.

You gotta love any player who was not expected to anything but consume valuable space on the roster.

Rasheed Wallace has brought our second unit something that cannot be measured. That "back up off me" thing.

It's an Oakley thing.

BREWER SAYS SHEED IS COACH ON THE FLOOR: The casual fan NBA fan probably looks at Rasheed Wallace as a technical foul machine. But Ronnie Brewer said on Anthony Donahue's "The Knicks Blog" Internet radio show that Wallace is much more than simply a player who struggles to control his temper.

"He's an extension of the coach. (He does) a lot that doesn't show up in the stat (sheet). He talks on and off the court and he really heightens our awareness on defense and allows us to be a better team," Brewer said of Wallace, who was thrown out after just 85 seconds on the court on Sunday against Phoenix after he received two technical fouls.

"I think a lot of times (referees) can be a little tough on him."

I guess he's supposed to say the ball doesn't lie, technically, hence the foul.

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Technically, the ball don't say nothin' at all.
So indeed, mr. Sheed, the ball does not, in fact, lie.

Between Sheed and Kidd coaching on the floor, we're in good shape.

"Ball don't lie" implies someone is lying. Im gonna guess its "an innocent statement" but in the heat of arguing a call, calling a ref a lier not gonna win you friends.

Ball don't lie implies the call was so bad the player shooting the free throw feels wrong about it causing him to miss.

Refs should T'up the player for missing.

It’s karma at work.

Nalod wrote:"Ball don't lie" implies someone is lying. Im gonna guess its "an innocent statement" but in the heat of arguing a call, calling a ref a lier not gonna win you friends.

Like other aphoristic phrases in the N.B.A.’s expansive, if not altogether very imaginative lexicon (“lock him up,” for example), “Ball don’t lie” traces its roots to playground courts. It is usually said when what is perceived to be a bad call does not result in a score, but instead a turnover or a missed shot.

There’s a simple poetry to it, the street-righteous version of “Cheaters never prosper.” It implies that the ball — possessed of its own moral compass — tips the scales of on-court justice, and not the referees or the other players.

That would imply that there is no harm in a bad call, because the free throws won't go in anyway. Hogwash!

"Great minutes boy, great minutes"

The interior defense of Rasheed Wallace is overlooked. Udonis Haslem, a powerful inside player was held in check. Bosh was a non factor.

Marcus Camby and Rasheed together now you know you in trouble.

"You miss him a lot. That was one of the reasons of bringing him to New York. I know he brings that to the table. It becomes very effective. It's contagious, when you got one or two guys that are talking all the time and in your ear when you screw up things. You do miss him. But again, he's not here. Guys that are in uniform got to talk and hold each other accountable. I got to make sure they do that."

- Mike Woodson

"(We) are 16-4 with Wallace in the lineup and allow 93.6 points per game. Without him, they're 5-6 and give up 103.9 points."
