Coach K jumped for joy

Lebron feels better.

Durant was automatic.

Carmelo is golden.

And thats why we won - cause we have a great team. I am actually euphoric however, I did not like what I have seen from him in the post season and in the olympics.

I hope he is a freak next year.

I think D-Will has been more effective so far than Chris Paul. The point guard play as a whole has been suspect. Spanish Chocolate came to play today tho. Looking way better than Prigioni did against Russia.

Chris Paul took over down the stretch....Key baskets and plays to push the lead out of reach.

He's a perfect example of a guy who is a very talented offensive player but still takes good, high percentage shots.

Jordan was a good example of a guy who didn't take high percentage shots but whose basketball acumen was off the charts...I wish basketball was as easy as only taking high percentage shots...

Bonn a big mistake I think you make is trying to pin Melo into a defined box where his game is judged on his shot percentage or the type of attempts...I think and I could be wrong of course, that he needs the volume of looks and touches for his all around game to excel...I think MDA wanted him to catch and shoot...He isn't that player...Bron isn't that kind of player...

Jordan took shots that he made at a high percentage. So for him, the shots were high percentage. Just like all the 3s Novak takes are high percentage but they'd be very low percentage shots for Tyson Chandler. You can define a shot as high or low percentage only by looking at how often that player makes them.

Jordan took a lot of outside shots and he wasn't a great outside shooter..His percentage improved on his penetration where he was a spectacular finisher..

He wasn't good in Washington but if you take his prime years (1989-1997), he was almost a 40% 3 point shooter (.372). Outside shooting was the one area he wasn't outstanding in but that doesn't change my claim that he was a highly efficient scorer overall.

Highly efficient scorer is code for a lot of things...No one scored the ball better that I have seen...No one got more calls off penetration, post plays, and baskets in the lane...So yeah that could good and well mask not so great outside shooting but no really the point I'm trying to make...You can't define Carmelo's game by his shooting percentage...It's been a theme of argument for you for the past two years...It's a limited argument...

"(The Olympics) gives guys who have struggled a chance to get it back. And they have." - Doc Rivers

...if Anthony can play in Orange and Blue with anywhere near the efficiency he showed in Red, White and Blue, the Knicks should be in good shape.

Winning is a habit.

People keep making statements that Melo need to do this or that so the Knicks can finally be that team..Yet for the last two years he has literally been the only one ready to compete in the playoffs...I think the rest of the team needs to show up just once before anyone can predict what kind of shape the Knicks can be in...

The big question is can the rest of the team catch up to level Anthony is playing to be a competitive threat to the rest of the league?...
