Exactly and for some reason the rebuilding team (Denver) is actually wining more games than us.

...while in the tougher conference.

And they have the better rookie, better coach, draft picks, more cap room and flexibility, nice outdoors clean air, nice mountains, good ski resorts, Rocky Mountain Oysters....Does that cover everything?

But what do they know? After all, they are just a bunch of ROLE PLAYERS RIGHT?

The Nuggies are at best an average team who will NEVER win a championship. As yourself who has a better chance at winning a championship. It's the Knicks and it's not even close. Wake up.

You are kidding right?

Nuggets have the LOWEST salary cap among all the playoff teams this year. 12 Nuggets are under contracts next year for a total of 42 millions. Last year, they signed Faried and Hamilton for 5 years at about 2 millions/year each. Gallo, 5 years for 45 millions. Lawson for the next 2 years at 3 mils/year. Afflalo, 5 year contract too at 38 millions. Lawson Faried are their young stars. They have their core players set for years to come and they can ADD WHOEVER THEY WANT TO MAKE THEIR CHAMPIONSHIP RUNS!

Knicks have 3 years left with their core players in Tyson, Melo and Stat. They are capped out for the next 3 years. Don't expect quality players in the Knicks roster without trading one of the big 3. Knicks already traded many of their future draft picks. They have to win with what they have. After the series with Heat, the future looks very bleak for Knicks!

You aren't counting Wilson Chandler contract that is not listed on Hoops Hype which takes it over 50 mil, They are redoing McGee's contract this year and Ty Lawson will get paid next year...Maybe the let Miller walk this year, Fernandez and Corey Brewer next...How rosy is that picture???

Watching the progress of McGee in less than 20 games, I'd say I'm pretty confident Mc Gee + Faried combo will be a fearsome duo for years to come... Chandler is a versatile 6th man and his contract is very manageable if you need to trade him. Lawson has all the tools to be a star, AAA is a young 2 ways players with good upside. The biggest question mark is Gallinari at that point, who touched greatness in one game to be invisible the following one.

Don't forget that Denver had a very promising start before being decimated by injuries (they had the second highest number of different starting 5 this year), and they still made the playoffs even after having traded Nene.

That picture is rosy enough in my book.

Heard there is talk of packaging Gallo(who touched greatness), Moz, and a first rounder for a closer...Our closer isn't available...Question is will u still watch beyond 20 games if they make that trade...Not many closers out there u know...

Please provide a valuable link about this, because he only thing Denver FO said about Gallo was that they won far more games with him than without. Not sure why they would trade him at that point as is the best complementary player you could find for a star. he sure would've helped us this year if we hadn't traded half of our team for someone we would have signed anyway.

The nuggets are so compelling that Martin and Andrew have actually started a new "ultimate" site for the nuggets team.

http://www.ultimatenuggets.com

https:// It's not so hard.

And Andre Miller and like us, if their PG goes down yes, they are PHUCKED!!!!

Yeah but they're not dumb enough to go into the season planning for Toney Douglas to be the full time PG with Baron Davis and Mike Bibby as the backups.

you can blame the GREAT Donnie Walsh for that one

The Knicks organization earned this criticism. No way we traded for Melo and signed Amare with the goal of going 1-8 in the playoffs.

Wasnt it Walsh who never addressed the PG issue knowing that MDA (the Coach he hired) needed a capable PG to run his offense?

1-8 due to the team being decimated by injuries in the playoffs 2 years in a row. Look at the heat, 1 game without Bosh and they get blown out. Brighter days are ahead buddy.

The injuries a symptom of the problem rather than being unrelated to it. We gave up our depth in the Melo trade and replaced that depth mostly with older, more injury prone, inferior players. Going into the season, our plan was to use Baron, Landry, Melo, Amare, Chandler as the starting 5. That 5 has had 45 seasons of wear and tear. You should expect many injuries.

42 mil for 12 players. 51 mil 12 players + Gallo. McGee has his qualifier offer coming season.

How do u know that was the plan? Why did they add Lin, shump, novak & JR then if that was the definitive plan?

Isn’t that what the Knicks currently are, a perennial 1st round exit team?

As far as the old Phoenix team, true, they couldn’t win the championship with the players they had, but they definitely past the first round way many more times than Melo’s Nuggets.

Damn Melo, the Denver Nuggets are making you look bad
