Knicks can play this way even with Tyson and Jared. It's really about the pace they're playing with. Whats the difference really if everyone is pushing the pace? If we can have just 75-80% of this pace while also have our Defense, this team can do some damage.

I say maybe you start both, Tyson at the 5, Amare at the 4, but then quickly stagger their minutes throughout the game?
Let Tyson close out the game if we need stops.
Let Amare finish out the game if we need buckets.
Staggering the minutes might cut into a few of their totals, but hey, with Amare's uninsured knees, I see nothing wrong with this.

That's the dilemma!! Apparently Amare is his old offensive beast at the 5, but can't guard the paint worth a lick. Tyson can guard the paint, then Amare can't score!! Nothing is ever easy with this team . . . UGH!!

MDA isn't telling Jorts he can't get some buckets inside!!! MDA wants the BEST shot possible, but you also have to have a 4 that can stretch the floor and that's why Jorts and sometimes Jared are out at the 3. You need space to make this offense work and get high % shots right at the hoop like STAT and others are getting. What Jorts does well is come inside to rebound which some guys don't do. That's why he ends up with plays around the hoop.

17 assists at the half, they do 12 or more in the second half and they'll win the game....it would help if they pick up the defense though.

Knicks have to get their D geared up cuz the Bucks only shot is if they just let them keep scoring and staying in this.

I am not advocating replacing Tyson with Amare. My point is I don't think Amare is 'fixed' if he plays alongside Tyson. The Knicks may need to move Amare.
