Because he was our only legit shot at Lebron. We gambled big and it didnt really pan out.

Yes it can turn around as long as Amare is on the bench. Our defense is non existent when he is in. Melo started to get going then faded, too much focus trying to get amare going!

AMARE needs to put in more effort on D & rebounding forget offense

The problems Dantoni had with Amare's D didnt keep the knicks from signing him

You talk like D'Antoni had much say in the matter.

Knicks had to sign a max contract guy that offseason, this was the mandate from Big Jimmy.
