The first instance of him having a personality clash with any of the other Knick players we tell him to clear out his locker and stay home. Hi Subzero from the past. Alot has happened over the past few weeks so let me catch you up! After your passionate post about the need to keep team chemistry by keeping what you have and developing the youth in shumpert, novak, lin etc, the Knicks have regressed. They actually signed JR Smith, but it seemed to have a recoil effect. Dont get me wrong, JR and his wife have brought many things to the Knick team. More of the players are sporting new tattoos now. Jared Jeffries, Shumpert come to mind (http://pinterest.com/pin/56365432806112870/. Smith has also helped the knicks up their three point attempts... not much when it comes to three point makes though. Where the knicks were a promising team on a 7 game run, the optimism for the teams success has now been replaced because of a 5 game slide. The youngins, Shumpert, Novak, Lin have indeed regressed due in large part to the minutes that have to be shared now with JR Smith. He hasnt helped us win games, he has furthered the regression of development for players we need in the future, he is not likely to resign with us this summer, and the team is falling out of playoff position fast. Yea, pretty much everything you thought would go wrong has gone wrong... and oh yea, dont even get me started on Amare and Carmelo. |
