Looks like D'Antoni has hit a wall with this team. I can't put it all on him. Some selfish play out there. Glad Lin got a shot. Looked like he was trying to bring them back by himself but I give him credit for attacking the rim as much as he did. Was out of control at times but he got to the rim quite easily.

I think Stat's big problem is that he is over thinking things right now. When Amar'e does a quick catch and shoot he has a much better release. Jerome Jordan should get more minutes. He is more mobile than Jeffries or Chandler and he has a few post moves. No sense in wearing Chandler out in an abbreviated season.

I only got to watch the second half but Houstons bench was dominant.

More importantly they need to get better at PG. They have two off days which they need right now after a 4 games in 5 days stretch. They have to figure out how to score the ball as a team much more effectively.

Gotta hope Baron is getting close and that Melo is getting healthy. Melo will have had 5 days off by the next game on Tuesday.

dude. they suck. this team is a disaster. the Melo trade set us back big time and we needed no indication other than Donnie Walsh stepping away to show us that this team was heading back in the wrong direction. i've been patient enough. this team will not go far. first round exit is the ceiling. time to tank for that top 5 pick. might not be too late to gut the roster and collect young assets.

This is a pathetic lottery team.
I suggested that we tank last night but I was willing to give it half the season
before starting to do that. At this point, I could care less.

I have really been impressed every time Jordan is on the floor. I watched a couple of his games overseas during the lockout and he is much more impressive now. I agree about D'Antoni. He needs to have these guys practicing tomorrow and Monday. They need to gel. I will be pissed if I read that he decided to give them a break.

You know we have it bad when our best PG is a guy that was waived by two teams in the same week.

I agree, beats going home and dwelling on it.

Agreed, back up TD

The funny thing is he should have at least 10 assists in this game. Lin set up Novak and Walker for open 3s that they missed. He setup Balkman a couple of times for open shots that he missed. That alleyoop pass should have been an assist but Balkman did not jump.

Lin has earned his spot in the rotation. At least as backup to TD.

Completely missed the game. Two year old with ear infection and high fever created a mini crisis.

Looks like Lin got some PT eh? Decent stat line but was it garbage time? I guess Jordan Hill is proving me wrong he may be second string. Hopefully Lin sticks and we have seen the last of Toney D?

Chances MDA gets fired this week? 60-40.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Actually got real minutes. First Knick game that Lin played outside of garbage time. He would've had several more assists had Balkman decided to jump and hit a few open jumpers.

Yup. Novak and Walker also missed open shots. Jordan also I think fumbled a pass that would have been a dunk.

At this point, D'antoni has to start Lin.

At this point, management has to look for a trade for a backup PG like Rindour or Sessions because Lin, waived by two teams, is the only PG on a team that depends on its PG play.

At this point you waive Bibby because its clear he isn't close to an answer here.

At this point, you have to consider Baron's return an unexpected bonus instead of depending on it, so a move for a PG has to be done.

At this point, we are really about to break. We are tied with the Nets and players are already venting to the Media. This is beyond ugly.

When you are falling though a bottomless pit, there IS NO rock bottom! Kick that one around in your noggin for a minute. Scary stuff huh?
