Side note: with the shortened season, the free week of league pass actually gives quite a few games.

Kings beat the Lakers by 10 earlier this week. game isn't over. they're a deep team with a lot of scorers.

Knicks look better. if they'd moved the ball like this against the Lakers, result would've been different.

having Jorts rebounding and playing D and swishing instead of Amar'e "rebounding" and "playing D" and stopping the ball has probably helped.

The dude has been playing well..come on

i like toney. he's been shooting well and moving the ball. but he makes a lot of bad decisions passing. misses a lot of cutters.

one bad decision

Toney has been doing a good job. I mean i think people are too hard on the guy since he wasn't expecting to be the starting pg. its good to see melo is helping others and isn't demanding the ball i think tahst why fields has seems like the old fields

I like how Jorts moves on the court. He actually moves his feet well on D and he goes and looks for someone to blockout on the boards. He gets his hands on a lot of balls. Jorts ability to actually PLAY the game using sound BB principles is yet another good pickup by Walsh. MDA said they liked him in his workouts and had him rated highly. Now you can see why MDA was high on Jorts ability to contribute this year.

that's debatable. i saw more than one. he's playing well. still misses easy scoring opportunities. a lot.

Solid first half... They're syncing up, slowly but surely.

Two More quarters of better play and this one is a wrap. Give the Kings no hope of getting back in this game, Knicks.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

fields has looked really good. he's been showing some signs that he's coming out of it. his first half against the warriors and lakers was good. time for him to put in a good second half, too.

I think amare gets a lot of crap. people seem to forget amare helped the knicks be compettive last season and he played center. Now when amare gets back he need to drive to the basketball and lay off the jumpers for a while

Besides Melo, no one was able to score for us in the 2nd....someone has to step up. Those 3's in the 1st wasn't falling in the 2nd.

i mean, if i had tape of the first half i could tell you the easy opportunities i thought he missed. not trying to be hard on him. i think he's a quality backup. he's just not a starting PG and it's somewhat frustrating.

he does seem to have more confidence in what to do with only one big scorer to cater to in melo. with amar'e and melo on the floor, he doesn't seem to know where to go.

If Amare had a legit pg to play pick and roll with, he would look so much better....and so would this offense.

amar'e was paid $20M to do that last season. unfortunately, he's also being paid $20M for what he's doing this season. i like amar'e a lot. i'm worried he's injured, hasn't recovered from the back - just the way he moves and avoids contact. and it's also pretty hard to deny that he and melo don't look comfortable on the court together so far.

Helping me not regret taking him on my fantasy team. Hope to see Landry finally adjust post-Melo.

Jorts has been terrific. How can you not love him?

Toney is NOT a PG...but that's no secret. He is a hard-working defender and a solid scoring guard off the bench. Get this guy back into his real role.

Bench was looking solid in half 1. Jerome Jordan looks like Jared Jeffries on steroids (actually meant as a compliment). Much more active defender on the perimeter than I expected.

Melo is the stabilizing force we need for this team. You just cannot defend him.

And on an off topic note, watching around the NBA highlights during half time. Paul Pierce is a ****ing ****. Just had to get that off my chest.

Happy New Years.

hey, i'm waiting on baron just like everyone else. (see my signature).

i mostly meant how jorts was fighting for rebounds in traffic and passing the ball.
