this team needs baron healthy badly.
but you see how the other things makeup for the lack of court vision and why the coaching staff sticks with him and believes in him. His defense on Deron was very good and really made him work and challenged his shots and pushed him into the help defense and the shot blockers. He also had 8 rebounds and in an ugly game when the offenses struggle thats the kind of effort that will win us early games.
Long term I love him in the Bobby Jackson, Jason Terry type role. First guard off the bench, play some backup 1, 2 and in 3 guard sets. Toney is the kind of guy who can give you 15pts 5assists 4rebs 2steals in 30 minutes off the bench. I think thats his career calling and its a good and valuable spot, especially when you see him playing high level defense
