I know it's easy to just bang on D'Antoni, but this is about the players man. You look at how we've played in the 1st and 4th qtr of all these losses and it's unbelievable how similar they've been. We start bad and end bad and in the middle it's just enough to get into the game, but not enough to win it. These 4th qtr collapses are just incredible. It's our best players who are just not clicking at all. STAT, Melo and Billups is not working and it shouldn't be this bad.

Nix I know you've had an extremely difficult time getting legit pulse on this team in about a decade, but tonight our 3 main players played about as awful as and Fake Big 3 can play. The coach deserves his usual criticism of sticking with the wrong players too long or at all and retiring and/or not using players he should enough.

Why not have Fields on the court the last 2min instead of Williams who showed all night and in his previous few games his shot is way off, not to mention he's playing dinged up.

You don't know that it would make any real difference to have Fields in there. Was he lighting it up tonight!!! Please keep your armchair coaching ideas to yourself. I happen to know a lot about BB and I don't need you trying give me some lame analysis of what the coach didn't do.

This is about the players cuz there's no reason for this team to struggle scoring the ball in this system. D'Antoni teams never have problems scoring like this. If you're executing properly scoring comes easy. This team is not getting good BB from it's most important players and we don't have enough depth to overcome that, PERIOD! If CB, STAT and Melo aren't playing at a high level we can't win.

both misses.. both shots bad teams take..

Knicks work too hard to score, no more easy points, fast break points or pick and rolls..

Bucks get one pick and open for one of their crazy, hook runners that happens to fall in only vs the knicks..

we got clowned by a bum, playground guard in jennings..

nuff said..

break this team up...

Bucks knew jennings was hot, so they let him do his thing. We put too much emphasis on the whole movement. We give the green light for everyone to shoot and what ends up happening is that the we go long possessions with our role players taking all the shots.
whats wrong with letting melo or stat just create the shot or pass out of the double?

too many times, melo is working for post position and they just go to the other side and end up jacking up a three. that ish is frustrating, i feel if he gets it in the post, he'll get doubled.

You picked out their mistakes while ignoring Melo's barreling in and getting his shot blocked late, Amar'e barreling in and getting tied of for a jump ball, and letting Sanders loose all game and Billups launching shots out beyond the Hudson and missing the River?

Jennings is an Abysmal player but he's throbs against us.

Just posted that on the Randolph thread. He has a quarter to go. I hope he figures things out soon.

i just wish dantoni played him. i begrudge dantoni for not playing him and playing him significant minutes. he was playing terribly but keep this guy the gym, extra film classes, more one on one, stay after practice...

i was so excited at the start of the season anticipating him and amare blocking all the opponents shots.

I don't even want to think about AR. I believed and still do that he has all the talent in the world

What the freak is he supposed to do when his best players are not getting it done. You think we can just win games without them playing well? These repeated statements from some Knick fans are just ignorant. This team was averaging 106 ppg and now we struggle to get 90 pts. That just doesn't make sense. The team is built to be a shutdown team. Not without more size. That trade only made us weaker on D, so the team MUST be good on offense. For some reason we've gotten worse.

It is well known that DOES NOT put an emphasis on defense, we are a one trick pony team when we can't score we ****ing lose. The ignorant one is you bro, believing that this joker with his run and gun no defense style is going to win the big one day. Child please.

Very practical insight I'm assisting you with. You don't need to light it up in the last two minutes or shown you had prior too as long as you proved efficient hitting out on the perimeter and/or when open during the game.

So to answer you in short...... on the night Lighting up stats between Fields and Williams goes as follows...

Williams 1-6fg
Fields 3-5fg

Really besides a very fortunate and accidental offense tip in what had Shawne shown all night in terms of LIGHTING IT UP from the floor? He was a..."What are you doing taking that shot Shelden" away from and 0fer.

Jennings tore us a new one.

Jennings plays under control most of the time. Douglas is Helter Skelter with no sense of pacing.

We need our PG to run the offense like Jennings.

Im also confused why we didn't double team Jennings like other teams do.

Say what you like but Jennings runs the offense well. Problem is the Bucks have no offense.

Just because he scored on the Knicks awful defense does not mean he knows how to run an offense. Jennings is a PG like Steve Francis was a PG.

I don't think Billups should ever get off the bench. I rather see Anthony Carter since Billups has come back from injury.

Oh shut up. You're just spouting the same parrot talk all these other guys have been. No real analysis of what's really happening on the court. Just "MDA doesn't focus on defense" as if that's the only thing you need to do and every team in the league would be defensive juggernauts. It doesn't work like that. At some point you need to have the right players to get the job done. Our best 2 players aren't good or committed defenders and since they log starter minutes that means when their on the floor you have some holes on D.

Tonight the Knicks didn't lose due to D. Sure it wasn't great D, but this was about horrid offense, much like the other losses have been. we haven't reached 100 pts in any of the last 5 losses!!! This for a team that avg'd 106. To me that is a problem with the offense. This team isn't setup to be great on D. We have to be great on offense.

We were still trying to figure out how to get out of our 5th game post trade confusion of how to guard the PNR. You got it right tonight Jennings and Bogut were very good. You know though the Jennings we saw tonight is not and has not been the 2010-11 Jennings. If Delfino can drop 30 on us..... Jennings the star you think he is, should have dropped 60....so he still failed

Good point about doubling Jennings and forcing Salmons beat us all night

I'd say we need our point guard to run our offense like Kyle Lowry and add in play defense like him

We're a team full of misfits at this point.

What excuse will it be tonight?

I'd like to say I care but this team has left the fan in me in a coma. I love the Knicks, but this edition is killing me softly to the point I don't expect wins anymore and a loss like this one isn't that shocking nor infuriating.

I don't feel this team at all. If they make the playoffs playing like this, its gonna be as exciting as a headache.
