It doesn't help when Mike benches real size like Shelden to play Shawne at center.

We're playing so far though.

Sheldon Williams is 6'8 and a forward. he is NOT real size.

6'9 and has much more bulk than 6'7 small forward Williams.

and zero offense

Shawne Williams is 6'9

If Shawne Williams is 6'9 then I'm 7 foot.

Not every position has to be about offense. We need a little thing called DEFENSE.

Shooting 59% in the 1st quarter... Nice.

I actually like the way the Knicks are defending. They're pressing, trapping, switching and helping. Good energy. When you're defending hard it's gonna lead to some fouls due to aggression, but it's been good overall.

Very True..Toney Douglas is playing great defense on the Point Guards as well.

The Good News

Toney Douglas making his shots.

The Bad News

Douglas is Still way too tentative on how to run the point.

These knicks in white knee pads are giving me Ewing flashbacks.

I can't wait for Mike to get a chance to work with Melo and show him some ways to get off in this offense in other ways than going ISO. This is a quick hitting offense and he's used to getting it holding it and working, but he'll score more efficiently in this system once he gets a chance to learn how it works.

One thing that's instantly noticeable so far with Melo - we don't look as lost when Amar'e is on the bench.

My bad. And rebounding. That's a huge need. Large Forehead can rebound.

Love the aggressiveness from Fields even if it was a travel.

He's an underrated defender. I was shocked at how he defended Lebron that time.
