really, i was half sleep and perked right up.

i don't think Shawne threw a punch did he? i just saw Marvin shove him in the back of the head & he threw the first punch & missed then threw another one that missed before Amare & Josh Smith broke them up

He threw a few, looked that way.

He definitely threw a left... there was one bird's eye angle that you could see it clear as day

i watched it about 5 times now & i still don't think he threw a punch... he put his arm out to try & block a punch from Marvin but it wasn't a punch... he had his hand ****ed ready to throw one but i think he showed good restraint there not to throw one... Marvin threw at least 3 punches that didn't land... Zo woulda been proud.

I saw it on the Hawks feed and when Williams dropped his head/torso low, he slipped his left. I'll look for the angle, but pay attention to when he drops real low because that's when he threw it.

a major difference between the Hawks and Knicks: Lots of ~6'9" guys on the Knicks but they are all SFs and one PF in Amare. Lots of ~6'9" guys for Hawks and they are all PFs and one C & one SG.

i see the one you're talking about but i don't think that was much of a punch... just looked like he was throwing his forearm to defend against Marvin's punch & Williams body dropped low after he missed the first punch... just maybe appeared to be a punch because of the way Marvin's head dropped towards Shawne's left side underneath his arm.

I think the Knicks should consider using Mozgov to clog the lane a bit. Its up to Mosgov to get rebounds which he hasnt done and finish easy plays.

We shall see him soon enough. Over the next 3 weeks Knicks have a lot of days off and practice time. I bet they are waiting for just after all-star break.

I don't think it's much of a punch either... just think there's enough evidence there where the NBA will rule it a punch

yeah i wouldn't be surprised to see him suspended for a game or 2 over this episode... would be a shame tho, he just got his chance to start some games & now he might have to sit out cuz of this... Bill Walker better get ready to see some big minutes in the next game.

not much of a fight, just Marvin Williams being a punk.

Marvin, in his first start back after missing like 10 games (second game back after playing like 10 minute in prior) decides he wants a couple of more games off. What a dumb player. And all because perhaps he got bumped? And in the last minute of a blowout?

Is there another team with more knuckleheads than Atlanta? Even the coach told his player to head straight for the shower.

So I saw the video of the fight.

Crazy.

Both crazy for fighting, but if you're going to fight, I'm proud of Shawne Williams. You can tell he's about it. That was a legit punch he threw, no Carmelo sissy crap.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Definitely not his first fight, lol. Sadly, with the rules about punching these days, we could be looking at a long suspension for the young fella. Shame, he had a great opportunity to establish himself in the league and make a career for himself.

just got back from the game....

Gallo needs to get more shots, just 8 shot attempts.. He is taller and bigger than I thought, really works on defense, off the ball, he is very alert..

Fields is faster than I thought..

Felton played with a lot of swagger..

Amare is quick.. he and felton took too many shots tonight.. forced the issue..

Shawne williams played a very good game. The fight came out of nowhere... I was ready to leave the arena and all of a sudden all Hell broke loose..

tough loss, Kicks just can't rebound. I am suprsied more teams just don't throw the ball at the hoop and go get the board for a layup. Knicks just don't grab boards!!!

Tough loss..

because if he did that, then he would have to sit everyone. Tonight, guys were missing assignments a lot. I saw gallo cover fields and felton twice on mistakes...
