I also think teams have the knicks scouted. Let stat get his, we'll force everyone else to beat us, so they up their efforts on the other guys.

Thats what happens when you shorten your rotation.

Play the bench D'antoni, PLAY THE BENCH.

Gallinari is injured, Felton is injured, and I am convinced Amare and Chandler are either injured and are trying not to let it show or will drop soon.

D'Antoni, we are not winning a championship this year, playing these guys like this is selfish and reckless. PLAY THE BENCH.

to be fair though, the bench has not shown me alot and for a good part of the game we were in it.
just couldnt get over the hump.
walker and williams was out there, so not sure who else your looking for. AR has looked terrible, and that leave mason jr and mosgov.
so who's on the bench again?

D'Antoni rarely goes deep in the bench even in blowouts. I doubt he will expand the rotation unless they've been mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs.

And that's where coaching and adjustments come in. Every team knows to crowd Amare now..so he needs to really hit that midrange..He's open on that most games. You can't run on EVERY team. Team run same sets every game..it's ridiculous and predictable..like The NY Giants playing Basketball.

MDA team goes as the PG goes. This system is PG driven. Felton has been pretty bad the last 4 games. He needs to concentrate on setting up and spreading the wealth instead of just dumping it to Amare.

Shawne Williams play'd 10 minutes..Walker 7..when they were in they made a run to cut it to 6 points in first half. It's not like Gallo and Chandler were playing great.

Very True..both Felton and Toney Douglas have stunk it up the past 5 games.

horrible performance..

gallo 4-11 and you can tell he doesn't have his legs back yet, missed 3 easy layups in which he make a nice move to get by his man.. easily could have been 7-11 instead... still, tough game considering..

chandler: seems to be struggling with his shot and confidence.. rushing things.. 4-13 from the field..

Fields: not a good defensive game

Amare: Had the ball stolen by chuck hayes about 50 times.. Did amare not understand what was happenning to him?

Felton: still struggling a bit.. 5-14

Turiaf: only 20 minutes?

TD: not a bad game 13/7 boards and 3 dimes

Bench: walker and williams did not look good...

Chuck hayes? wow..

kyle lowry? are you kidding me?

With kevin marting struggling shooting 6-18, we blew one here fellas.

22-19, and slipping?

Yea, but thats just it. We are not winning a championship this year, so play them even if they look terrible. AR and Mosgov need experience, put in mason jr to get his trade value up. You cant jump into your car and floor it for 4,000 straight miles and then become surprised when it breaks down on you. Our starters dont look good. These guys are tired and over-expended. We are not playing for a championship, so why are we killing our players when we have to develop some guys for next year and/or possibly a trade? Not smart player management, not smart at all.

the team was playing well before during the whole Melodrama... i don't see how that has anything to do with it... this team just looks tired.

well, we've known all season they're playing on a short rotation...

i think felton is playing extremely banged up - and as our most important player outside of amar'e that hurts.

but i don't know. i think at this point the melo stuff might be on the radar for the knicks. it's known by the entire world that melo wants to go to the knicks. and every day he doesn't go somewhere else is another day he's seemingly closer to NY. fields and chandler just look off to me. felton, too, but i think that's injury.

the team isn't running the PnR the way they were doing during their run of good games... lately it's been all about dumping the ball off to Amare in the high post & spotting up beyond the 3 pt arc... no motion w/o the ball other than Landry going in for offensive rebound opportunities everytime 1 of his teammates shoots up a jumper... i think Ray & TD are dealing w/injuries, i agree w/u... but i dunno what can explain the way they've gone away from their bread & butter of late... it's really mindboggling.

Felton runs the bread and butter and he's hurt. He looked like he hurt his ankle bad enough in Portland to be out for a few weeks. Instead he's playing through it.

Basically, this team is screwed if Amar'e and Felton don't play at an all-star level night after night. Felton is too hurt to do so.

I do still think Fields and Chandler might be shook by the trade rumors for Melo - Fields because he's never dealt with the rumors before and Chandler because he might know they're real and he's heading into free agency.
