And how about that Brook Lopez. Dude is going to be a star big in this league. Put him next to Amare and we would be a top 3 in the EC. I'd much rather get a player like Brook than Melo.

Uhhh, rather get a defensive C that boards. Brook is slow on help defense, hardly rebounds for his size, and is awful at PnR D. He's not that good of a fit with Amare. We need someone like Tyson Chandler.

Agree with this. I hate Brook Lopez - I think he's totally overrated by this board.

Great win. Like many have said, they were losing this game years before and even earlier this year. Perhaps we are witnessing a growth stage for this team?

Winning games you should win is a big step for a franchise, whether they are home or away. Next is too beat some good teams at home and then start beating them on the road.

I would like to see the Knicks get to 5 games over by the end of December. Looking at the schedule, I see them going, 7-6 but 8-5 is not impossible. That would put them at 17-15 or 18-14! Not great but a heck of a lot better than last year!

I agree with others, that the starting 5 is carrying this bunch now, including Turiaf when he plays. Hopefully they can make a deal to help their depth as December comes around.

not by me! Ive been killing that turtle for awhile and defending the Gallo pick over him.

Lopez is a nice bigman, he would look really good next to Amare. Of course, we are finding out EVERONE look good next to Amare. Good scorer, big body, increadibly slow feet. He's the next coming of BigZ. He's NOT a franchise center that can anchor a team. He's complementary player.

It was funny.. Ian Eagle and Frattello (YES announcers) have such a man crush on Lopez is was pukish. On one end of the floor they are humming "nobody can stop Lopez!!!"
On the other end of the floor Chandler, Felton and Amare are driving the lane for dunk after layup after dunk and Lopez wanted no part of being posterized on sports center. He's like an Isiah-Knick. No balls.

Dont get me wrong... he would be a great piece for us. Hell, we need that piece, but you can also see the pansy side.

We're due for a good test. No "early game" "holiday hangover" excuses. Just win.

lol well apparently msg keeps playing yesterdays game so you can watch that lol .. I personally like the highlights video.. http://video.msg.com/Home/NYK-NJN-Highlights-Analysis-11-30

I don't think there will be a problem unless somebody wants to make a problem, ... If they really want to make a problem, they're going to have to make a decision about how they want to spend their adult life in terms of playing in the NBA or not.

no! our guys need rest. MDA rode the starters into the ground last couple of games. 40 minutes against the Nets after 50+ against the Pistons. Need rest + Douglas and Turiaf back. Some practice time for the young guys would be good too

I particularly agree about Anthony Randolph. He could use a chance to get 2 or 3 full practices in just to maybe figure out his niche.
