Man, Uruguay's defense kicked ass! I cannot believe they held that score. That group is going to be interesting.

I just root for underdogs. No anti-French feeling. I wanted Uruguay to win but a tie is fine too.

He's old and sucks now. He signed with the Red Bulls in MLS. Needless to say he's not on the team.

Is that official yet? I know it's been a rumor for a while but send a link that confirms it if you got one.

I'm a Trinidad supporter 1st, then I support the African teams. Was rooting on Bafana Bafana today at Iona in Williamsburg, what a beautiful goal by them, and some great stops by their keeper. Too bad they couldn't hold off Mexico for the win.

This will be the first year I'm really behind the US. I hope they destroy England tomorrow, and unfortunately I'm going to miss that game. My European team tends to be France.

Woooooo! Very excited! But nervous because this team can embarrass us like the Euro 2008. We'll see.

I'll see you tomorrow, Jim!

No disrespect but the Greeks look flat and insipid this time around.

France was depressing. But my teams are Italy and Argentina, hopefully they will do well.

Otto Rehhagel, the Greece coach, has managed to pick the worst lineup imaginable for this game.

God, this guy is making D'Antoni look good.

We will get owned by TMS' countrymen. Pitiful.

Wow! Greece is in trouble. Korea seems to be very strong on set plays.

They do. The problem is half the defense was replaced with a bunch of scrubs by our coach. Vyntra and Papadopoulos are grade A garbage. We usually have Kyrgiakos and Papastathopoulos play. Both players play in great leagues. The other 2 play in Greece and suck to boot. Then you have Tziolis and Charisteas - complete waste of player. We are playing 11 on 7 right now.

Sad to see football being destroyed by politics and favoritism. The French are a good case in point.

I gotta say I am really surprised at how well the S. Koreans played. They are fast and setup attacks well. They are going to be a serious threat.

I'm gettin ready to get on a flight but did get to watch the game. Man we looked pitiful - no offensive scheme no cohesion and half our defense replaced for this game by scrubs (what c2d said!). Having to face nigeria and argentina....man it don't look good for the greeks....

for people soooo passionate boy we didn't show any today sans a few desperate minutes at the end.
