How can really become a true post up play when your play book has you on the perimeter. Why you think he develope a jump shot more then anything. Had this been JVG or LB, then we would see a better defensive effort from lee, and a more post up lee.

Lee IMO is a product of his coach, thats why his defense is below AVG, and he's a jump shooting big man.

and the reason why i dont want bosh at max (only maxed guy) is what you said... he cant carry a team right now. i think its fair to say we shouldnt pay for stats from lee/bosh/amare/etc... we need parts to help win. if lee puts more effort into d and his off stats decline, yet he helps get more wins -- isnt that ideal? note i am figuring that as his effort becomes more balanced it **should or could** cause a decline in his off production.

20+10 is what we heard about zero, and amounted to little. 20+10+wins == sweeeeet. i think thats what joec32033 is alluding to. if lee puts up 15/10 on a better team, why is that so bad? in the end, lee should have been dealt with before now. either traded or signed long term, which wouldnt have had the same $$$ impact it **may** have now.

It's not a bad thing for Lee to put up lower numbers on a winning team. Stats are for contracts only! They really don't mean anything when it comes to winning. I just want to make sure DW put's together and team that can truly contend with the best in the league. The thing is that I don't expect it to happen in one off season. Not in the sense of playing for the Title next year. This isn't the Boston Celtics situation. We could get there with a Lebron signing, but i'm not really expecting that. Short of that we're looking at a couple of years at least to get to a title series. It's gonna take 2 summers IMO.
