Iverson is not even close to the reason why the Sixers lost tonight... if not for him they probably get blown out this game... he was keeping the Sixers in it early on when no one else could get any offense going... i thought he played a nice game tonight, & Carney had a wide open look at the 3 w/a chance to win the game off an Iverson dish in the closing seconds... he should have knocked down that shot easy.

You know how many free throws Iverson attempted? 0. He attempted 0 free throws last night. That tells you that he's not what he used to be. If he doesn't get to the line, he's worthless. 16 points? Big whoop.

gimme a break already... the Sixers lost cuz the other AI was bricking up shots all night... Iverson was not the problem for them last nite.

duhon is a joke.. he is blatantly looking of gallo. but lee is just as guilty.. I watched lee find Al harrington across court tonight about 3 times. and Al was tossing up bricks.. these guys see who they want..

I do what I can. The team reads these game threads before the game, and it inspires them. I'm sure of it.

I think one of those hotel ghosts possessed Jared Jeffries last night. Off the dribble jumpers and driving layup's from the top of the key over a shotblocker are impossible shots for him.

I'm not a David Lee fan but I have to give him kudos. His offense has improved so much. I'll eat some crow and admit that Lee offensively is starting to remind me a little of Charlotte Hornets Larry Johnson with his spins in the post and mid-range jumper.

We absolutely need a starting point guard but another glaring issue us getting killed on the boards. Someone other than Lee has to rebound. All the more amazing considering we start 4 guys 6'8" and up.

The only reason why the sixers lost is because Carney(who was hitting those shots all game) missed.

He was wide open !

Only reason the Knicks didn't win by more points is we missed shots that were open.

That's just basketball. As JVG says: It's a make or miss league.

Yeah, but leaving open a guy--who's been hot--for the last shot of the game when you're up one is rather trusting to luck, no?

if D Lee starts knocking down 3's & playing defense like LJ, he'll be a max player.

It was a mistake that he was so open for that shot. But still, even wide open, a three-pointer is not a sure thing.

exactly..

Plus carney was not wide open.. gallo did a good job cutting iverson off, forcing the pass and was able to get back and put a hand in carney's face...

watched the play a couple of times... he seemed wide open enough. And the bad part is he made 2 mistakes: 1) not moving without the ball, the whole baseline was open before he got the rock 2) why shoot a 3 when you are only down by 1?

you cant let Iverson beat you and he will either hit a shot or go to the line. Great job bottling him up. If the 3rd guy off the bench beats you with a 3 thems the breaks.

Pshh...0/0 at the line last game. If you let Iverson beat you, he will NOT go to the line.
