I just have to laugh at those defending Larry Hughes. This is how it's done people:

Calderon has been out with a sore hip for all but seven minutes of Toronto's last 13 games and the team has posted an impressive 8-5 record in his absence.

"I'm not going to disrupt the unit that we have right now," coach Jay Triano said of Calderon returning.

The veteran agreed completely with his coach.

"It's Jay's call. I'm ready to help the team, and keep winning games," said Calderon on Tuesday. "If I've got to be coming from the bench the first two, three, four, five games, or whatever, it's Jay's call. He's the coach."

You're right. Not everyone is a johnny one note. I never said everyone who backs up Hughes was a D'antoni hater. You seem to want to generalize my statements when my statement about playahatin was not directed at the masses.

When told that Hughes said he wanted to talk with D'Antoni about the situation, the coach shrugged.

"I don't know what dialogue to give him. But we don't need to go back and forth. He's fine and he'll be ready when we're ready to go."


D'antoni is not messing around. It's not the inmates running the asylum anymore.

Hughes is playing for a contract, calderon isn't why should he rock the boat.. You guys never side with the players business point of view.
