tkf wrote:gallo made some slick passes to lee tonight.. funny how everytime he touches the ball good things happen.. he starts off the game busting two shots in gasol's face and doesn't see much of the ball after that.. just 3 more shots in the half.. LOL.. they need to put the ball in gallo's hands more and have him create. in the atlanta game, he and toney douglas had a nice two man game going at times. if duhon doesn't know how to find gallo, he should sit. ¿ △ ?

LOL.. Watching the game last night, you can see that Dudu and Nate does not want to pass to Gallo. Gallo just does a lot of things really good. From defense to making the right decisions and making really good catchable passes that lead to baskets. Until Coach Pringles divorces himself from Dudu and Nate, we will never truly see what Gallo can do. |

Gallo's line
32 min PTS - 11 FGM-A - 4-10 REB - 4 AST - 3 STEALS - 2 BLOCKS - 2 For somebody that is continually being freezed out by your teams lead guards, he filled out the stat lines pretty well. |

LOL.. i think nate and duhon want to find cutters for layups and pass to shooters as a last resort. they don't know how to set up easy shots for shooters. i don't know if d'antoni's offense is all that good at creating easy shots for shooters. there are almost never screens outside of the main pick and roll at the top of the key. everything comes out of that. and now people know how to defend lee and duhon for the most part, while keeping someone at home on gallinari. mike needs to think of a new plan to get gallo the ball - hoping someone leaves him wide open to go down and help on the pick and roll is not working. gallo is good at creating, he and toney should run pick and rolls themselves. heck, have gallo run the pick and roll with dlee - they had that gorgeous bounce pass play last night. why is duhon the only one who runs the pick and roll? he doesn't shoot if they sag and he is too timid to drive to the rack. you'd think toney or gallo could do a better job running the pick and roll from the top of the key. or nate or larry hughes, even. ¿ △ ?

LOL.. I agree. I think that Gallo has the skillset to run the pick-and-roll effectively. |

In fairness to Wilson Chandler, he WAS guarding Gasol-- think of the massive energy expenditure that this entails. It's pretty obvious he was missing shots due to fatigue...and horrible shot-selection to a lesser extent.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
