this is not rocket science..

Lee can't play center..

Play hill more

Gallo with 19/10 on just 10 shots needs to be a part of almost every posession..

Start douglas and sit duhon..

Play landry, he will pass and defend..

chandler needs to come off bench..

The play that epitomized our problems was. Down by 11 making a run.. gallo is wide open at the top of the key.. harrington dribbles and dribbles into a double team, loses the ball and they warriors score..

GAme over..

1-9

start Hill, lee, gallo. Douglas and for the love of god, get us a real SG or start landry...

This is NY players will come!!

Gallo Hill and Douglas are good young players just being asked to do toooooooo much!!

Every VET on this team has flat out quit!!

Boston had Paul Pierce, a first round pick and a budding star in Al Jefferson. What do we have? No SUPERSTAR will come to this team. So what if it is New York. The Garden has lost some of it's luster over the years. I think the best we can do free agent wise is Joe Johnson and I doubt he helps us much.

YOu can say that on 11.13.09, but you don't know what FA's will think about this team come the summer. Gallo might just have a really promising season. He's already showing that he's got a lot of talent and this isn't even close to his peak. Just imagine what Gallo, Hill and TD will look like after they mature and gain more experience. I think Chan just needs a healthy off season. He really got held back by the lack of any real work on his game. He needed it cuz he had a lot more development needed. Still if we can somehow get good PG play, maybe all of these guys would look a lot better. Except for Al who is like even worse than Zach as an selfish player.

The attraction for a max FA to come here is clearly not anyone on the roster. It is rather that at least by 2011 (sooner if we can trade Curry/Jeffries) that there's space for a second max FA.

Well there is only so much you can do when you play 5 minutes. He wasnt playing hard and he didnt look to happy---maybe he is on the rotating Don Nelson sht list.

Banking our entire future on the hope that great championship level players will come, sure. What can possibly go wrong with that?

If they don't, we have the space to sign whomever else you want.

We tried going the non-capspace way. That's what got us here.

Wow, how many would rewind and actually do the Chandler-for-#5th pick?

Not a guy I expected to regress. I never expected this pathetic showing, but at least most of the youngsters were giving us hope. Chandler is no longer giving us that.

This isnt about capspace vs non-capspace. This is about banking our future on 1 free agency period vs building from the draft. Read my post located here http://ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=32942.

I am still scratching my head.

He's a rookie. He's still recovering. We know what we have there. No reason to pull a Don Chaney McDyess move is there? No urgency to win this game. This season is over. No need to push players into extra minutes.

As it was I felt Gallo and Douglas were again out of gas in the 4th and should have sat earlier.

No need to risk injury or risk a burnout (ala duhon last season).

Sit them when they're done.

I'm gonna give Chan a pass since he couldn't work on his game this summer and he really needed it. PLus we don't have that leader on the floor to show him the way to succeed. If we had Nash, you think he couldn't tell Chan what to do and feed him properly?

We're not banking our future on it.

We're tearing down a mess that was already here. Making this more palatable is the hope that we get a couple of max FA's. But even if we don't get that, this was necessary. We weren't going anywhere; we've been crap for a decade.
Worst case scenario, we don't get a max FA nex season, we're crap again next year, and we build through the draft.

Yep. Lee is dead to me. It began last year though. Slow, soft play. Thank GOD Donnie didn't flinch. He offered one year and stuck to it. Same with Sideshow Nate.

THANK YOU DONNIE!

Izayer would have locked both up to 6 year deals. Or traded them and our 2012 first rounder for Stephen Jackson and Corey Maggette.
