Wow, Curry at 4 and Evans at 10. The actual NBA Draft will be crazy.

What's crazy about Evans at 10? He's Top5 talent.

my guess is the expectation that evans would have gone higher.

i think it is almost guaranteed in the real draft that one player some thought would go higher will drop.

The draft is always unpredictable--look at Brook Lopez last year--consensus pick 3 all year and went 10th. I think it's quite plausible Evans will go higher but ya never know

Exactly that. He's Top 5 and may slip to 10 or maybe a few picks lower. My point is that practically no picks are set after #1 with Griffin. Thabeet may go 2. Rubio may slip with the buyout discussions. Curry may still get higher but at the same time may still be available at 8. Nothing is set and with many teams either planning to move up or out of the draft.

With respect to Henderson, I am not sure there was a SG/SF available. Ty-Ranosaurus Evans would have been the pick, needs aside, or the other top PG (who will not be named in accordance with the Briggs' rules. But I think they have Calderon well placed and need to fill in the SG and SF positions.

this is going great for the Knickerbockers - hope the real draft comes out this way
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Evans is more of a SG and a backcourt of him and Calderon would work out quite well and especially fits into Colangelos identity.

I don't think there is anyone against Demar. It would be applauded simply because we never have that type of player--it's always another team that has a guy like that
You would think that Demar is kind of a safe pick in a way that he should thrive in uptempo--he's big and he also has a lot of all around upside. He's no Gerlad Green--if you watch USC he gets in there and bangs for rebounds and plays good defense as well.

JW, I seriously doubt the Knicks draft DeRonzan, even if he's available.

Wow!!! Didn't see G Henderson going to the Rapts. I had him pegged for the Nets. Okay, Rod Thorn & Kiki are in scramble mode. The rapts threw them for a loop. Well at this point, I guess you take the best player available.........

With the 10th pick...The New Jersey Nets Select

Jrue Holiday

Hey Knicksfan--if you want the Nets pick if these guys dont show in twenty minutes since you missed the 1st wash pick you can take it--otherwise I will go with a consensus pick at 11:40--

Alright, I've given Supreme 20 minutes to take the Phoenix pick, which he didn't so I'll make it..

If you ask me, he is a dead ringer for that guy from the Crying Game and I'm not talking about Stephen Rea. Makes me very uncomfortable. No way can this guy can become a Knick.
