i know that is usually common, but very useful.

sending out auto emails is tough for any small shop and unfortunately it's one that we most definitely wont pursue. However, when you are looking at the page that shows all of the threads, we have added a feature that will show you which ones you have posted to. A very end-around compromise but at least a step in the right direction I hope.

If you use firefox, which you most prolly do on Ubuntu install this addon: ReloadEvery https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/115

how about a little popup that appears in the bottom right hand corner when a new post goes up, sorta like how they do it on Facebook?

a) yes, when you click your own name you see your profile and hopefully a link to your previous posts. If you're registered on Elba as well, they have done it there very nicely.

b) a small avatar would be nice

c) perhaps include a rank for amount of posts under your name, also perhaps include the streak in the gamepicker

A couple ideas:

1) I think it would be cool if there was a section of the site with former Knicks players that the forum members have elected into the UK hall of fame. It could have a picture of the player, their career stats, a mention of the UK member who nominated them and maybe the voting results as well as the order in which they were inducted. The nominations could be done similar to the cuff link challenge, the winner of the most points each week in the game picker would get a chance to nominate the player of their choice from any era and then a poll is put up and a forum debate can take place in the thread. Just an idea but it could spice things up a little.

2) How about each users avg game picker finish over the life of their participation in it?

How about changing the format on the dates of people's posts. For example, instead of this current post saying 12-06-2009, how about we have it say 06-12-2009. I mean we do live in America. An america where the month comes first and the day comes second. Last I heard our only connection to Russia is arkrud, so I think it's okay to use the proper format for the country that we live in.

I know, I know, I'm on it.
