Roy is really a super star in the making. He scored 42 points to lead the Blazers to their first win in the playoffs.

Two teams still looking for their first wins are the Pistons and the Jazz, who lost to the two teams possibly going to the Finals this season, the Cavs and the Lakers.

A real hawk got loose at the beginning of the Hawks/Heat game and had to delay the game for a while when decided to perch itself on top of the backboard. I guess it was used during the pre-game or something. The handler eventually got it back.

The TNT Inside the NBA crew decided to recreate it w/ a cardboard hawk and, of course, scares both Kenny and Chuck.

Meanwhile, Wade scores 13 in a row to end the half and Miami is up 13.

How do you think the hawk got into the building in the first place? Does anyone know this?

It's the team mascot Spirit. He flies around before the game.

I say so. I used to enjoy Spirit when I went to Hawk games. I guess there is a safety issue but the kids love the whole act.
