how does davey johnson not have someone come in sooner? that was a long inning for oswalt. it was the 4th inning and it's an elimination game. what is he doing in the dugout?

the past 2 international competitions (last WBC & the last Olympics) for Team USA have been like the NBA dream team disasters before this past Olympic games when they finally brought the Gold Medal back home... all these Allstars & they still haven't been able to get the job done... they better have some comeback magic left for the next 3 innings.

US pitching staff is weak tho. i can understand why owners won't want $20 mil pitchers doing this thing but if this takes off, we have to see guys like webb, lincecum and some other guys do it next time.
