I don't really remember Macon, Hurley or Anderson taking a school like Davidson anywhere during their college careers. Curry's court vision and instincts will be apparent soon enough.

Kenny Anderson in his Freshman year led Georgia Tech to the Final Four. Losing to UNLV (go Runnin Rebels!).

Bobby Hurley led Duke to 3 Final Fours and won back to back NCAA Championships.

Mark Macon took Temple to the Sweet 16 as a Freshman and then to the Final 8 as a Junior. So there ya go. Maybe now you can remember.

When you say being Davidson, do you mean a cinderalla mid-major team? Each year a mid-major team breaks through to the sweet 16 and sometimes advance as far as the final 8. Gonzaga, E. Michigan '91, George Mason 2005, Wyoming (Fennis Dembo)'87, Rhode Island (Silk Owens) 88'.... and far as I can remember, none of the star players from those teams had any impact in the NBA. Not saying Curry wont, but just because Davidson had a good run last year doesnt mean much in the grand scheme of things.

Obviously, there are no guarantees, though I do think the fact that Dell Curry had a long career in the NBA favors Steph's chances a bit.

Billy Donovan carried Providence to the Final Four, and his range was superb, I guess he had a great NBA career, right?

So what is your actual point? Because Davidson had a Cinderella run Curry is guaranteed to be a star?

There's no guarantee anyone is going to be a star, but what he did in the tourney and what he's doing now are really impressive.
