you were jocking Jerryd Bayless all summer league on his way to the summer league MVP, & now he's putting up a mindblowing 1.5 ppg & half an assist in just over 10 mpg.
another one of your "why didn't we take this guy instead" picks, Joe Alexander, is averaging a mindblowing 0.0 ppg / 1.5 rpg in 2 games where he averaged 5 minutes.
Anthony Randolph, who was on your infamous top 5 list all summer long right up to the draft & a guy you labelled as a "can't miss prospect", has played a grand total of 1 minute in the NBA & hasn't even taken a shot yet or grabbed a rebound.
another prospect u were very high on, DeAndre Jordan, has only played 3 minutes & scored 1 basket so far this season.
Eric Gordon, 2 points in 5 mpg this year.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, 1.3 pts / 1.7 assists in almost 12 mpg.
so now you're worrying if Gallo might be a bust, what about those guys? oh I forgot, u already proclaimed Gallo a bust before training camp even started.

This was a good draft but I wanted the Knicks to get Mcgee and Randolph--I think I made that pretty clear. Bayless was more of a safe pick that wouldve been good for this style of play.
& again i'll point out that Randolph has yet to do anything in the NBA, but you're already wondering of Gallo's a bust even though the reason he hasn't been playing is due to him still recovering from that injury he sustained in summer leagues... so what makes u think Gallo's a bust already but Randolph isn't?
If the guy is hurt he is hurt. If the guy isnt getting PT because he scks that s another story. Supposedly Gallinari is NBA ready--guys like Mcgee and Randolph[who was SL MVP] arent *as ready* in body or game--supposedly. It's way to early to judge anyone--notice I said I hope that Gallinari is not a bust which is much different than saying he is a bust.
Ditto, me included. We've all gotta be patient, especially when he does finally get a run because he won't look too good at first. There's gonna be a period where he'll be getting the rust off and it probably won't be pretty. Still think he'll be a good one - he's got a lot of skill in what looks like a legit 6'10" body (seeing him standing next to Lee a few times in the huddle, he's noticibly taller than Lee). Calling him a bust is way too premature, missing all the time since the beginning of the summer league. Speaking of the summer league, he hardly looked like a bust to me in that 14 pt. explosion he had against the Cavs before he tweaked the back. Jumper was money, the big putback dunk off the Collins miss...looked good to me. And if that's not enough of a sample for some people, go to youtube and check out the big 10+ min. clip of this kid that's out there. My mouth waters everytime a see that clip. The latest comments from D'Antoni are encouraging - he verified that he's putting in extra work after practice, extra running, and said he's 'ready to go' from a skill standpoint (high praise, we all know he knows talent and his team needs help). Only thing is he also said that the pace is a little too quick for him right now - a little strange considering D'Antoni wants to push the ball and play quick, but I guess you can take that with a grain of salt as in Gallo just needs to catch up to the pace his coach wants to play, not vice versa. Understandable. Makes sense.... He's close and even though he wasn't my guy in the draft (I wanted Bayless all the way---I just didn't know anything about Gallinari, few did), it's quite obvious that he can play. We all need to relax and be patient with him...
