1 draft pick? This will take years. I'm in it for the long haul, as is everyone else.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I could understand his point say at season's beginning but we're talking about the here and now. We'd have to go 27-5 just to be a .500 team which isn't good BTW no matter where that would put us. It's more moronic to think we could even come close to that record than to think if we keep losing we have a great chance to land a very special player in the draft. We won't even go .500 the rest of the way which is 16-16. We own our pick this yr and next yr. We'll never be as close as we are now than to bottom out rebuild so that before this decade is over will be a team to be reckoned with. If we pull out all stops to win a couple extra games to give false perception of outlook by doing Wack Jazz Jermaine O'neal/Mike Miller trades we're assured of closing out this decade on a low note.

Listen, to one and all...I root for the Knicks to win all the time...I could give two ****s about a draft pick...It's difficult for me to enjoy a loss as a fan of a team...I'm not sure how many of you do it...I just can't...I think you are really lying about your feelings if you are a true fan...You are just trying to convince yourself their is light at the end of the tunnel the more you lose...Something positvie will come of this...I really don't care...If it happens that the Knicks get a good pick as a result of sucking large, so be it...Rooting for them to lose is another story...

I get amped up all summer to see this team play..ALL FREAKING SUMMER..Now the games are on I'm rooting for them to lose?...How that is possible is beyond me....Hope you get what you want guys...

Good for you. Nobody is asking you to root for them to lose. You're arguing that them losing does them no good when I gave you a prime example as to why rebuilding is the way to go. Believe what you want to believe but the reason we are in this mess is because we've been winning 30 games a year and thinking we need "1 more piece." We need more than that. Much more.

So I hope we do get what we want (and any other normal fan wants) which is Isiah getting fired and a top draft pick for a franchise player we can actually build around.

And who is that draft pick that will turn this mess around?

Did you honestly think Brandon Roy was going to turn things around for Portland considering the mess they were in? I bet you didn't

That's something no one can currently tell you. But what we want is the first choice to pick that person.

That's a good point, even I blindly took on an optimistic approach when the season began; with the addition of Zach, but now that's proved to be nothing but fool's gold. To have that mentality now is just futile. It'll get you nowhere.

And once again maybe holfresh has gone Stevie Wonder in this thread, I've said it, someone else has said it,........ "WE DON'T HAVE TO KEEP THE PICK, WE CAN TRADE IT!"

How valuable would you say a Top 3 pick is hol?

Its not as valuable as a #10 pick to him.

We have been dancing around this for years now...I too, want to rebuild, Dolan won't let it happen...I bet you Isiah wants to rebuild as well...It's not happening, It's not happening...It's not happening...So root for them to lose, you know what will happen? we will get a good draft pick and Starphuck some more.....

Neither would I, but to prove a point since Hol is implying every player will be a Bust or maybe some won't declare, it will have very high value across the league if we decide not to exercise it but barter it.

LOL I SAY UGH is a Diety when it comes to drafting and has yet to trade #1 picks on draft night. Every pick he's had he's exercised them, so with a Top 3 pick following his trend of drafting he's assured of bringing home a Stud right?

Man, forget it. What's the point of talking to you? You're worse than Isiah. A broken record. Who knows what the next guy will do when he comes here? Maybe Dolan will wake up. Donald Sterling started spending money after 10 years. Who the heck knows? Winning 33 games and 23 games is no different - you're still a loser. The only thing is the 33 win team is the loser with the 9th pick and the 23 win team most likely ends up with a top 3 pick. I'll take the chance at a top pick, thank you very much.

But this is getting lame and annoying. We've all made our arguments. We can all agree to disagree.

Later.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

You're the same guy who wants I SAY UGH gone here's a post you made uhhhhhhh 2 days ago
Watching the Giants celebrate their Superbowl victory yesterday, I saw the true H20 in the crowd cheering on the Jints...Had me thinking, I done with those guys from out of town who long to be in their home towns...I'm done with the Seattle connection...I'm done with the Chicago connection...

I want guys here who wants to be balling for us...This town is different from the other basketball towns...It takes a different breed of player...The last successful Knick team all loved being in New York and would die with the thought of leaving the City...Ewing, Starks, Oak, Mase, comes to mind...H20 is still here and loving it...I say we make him GM...Let's give Mark Jackson and Greg Anthony a shot in the organization...These guys are still New Yorkers and loving it...I can't take another Zeke story about his upbringing...It's time to clean house and the time is now....

I now have to listen to Nate, Craw, DLee and Big Turd wanting to leave....Are you shetting me..None of those guys can fill the shoes of Oak,Starks,Mase or Ewing in what they brought to the uniform...I say to all of them, Get A Frigging Stepping!!!!

What makes you think getting a different GM changes things? You know just like a high draft pick won't guarantee anything. So you want to turn the roster over but could care less about how high our draft pick is? You don't want the hometown guys here anymore and you think the guys who supposedly want to bail are gutless. Well who do we turn all these guys into, equating to winning, with mediocre to Fecal draft assets and horrible player contracts?

Face it you're just an emotional wreck from game-to-game. If it looks like one game we have a chance to win you're all LUBBY DUBBY but if we mail it in like we normally do or sculpt a Buss for Kareem Rush in the HOF by our play you want Top-to-Bottom changes.

GET A VISION AND GET A GRIP!

Based on his press comments and quotes Isiah believes what he has done in NY IS rebuilding. Dolan probably feels the same, but I never got the sense that Dolan wouldn't allow a real rebuild. If he allowed Thomas do to his insane version I don't understand why he wouldn't allow a real version.

The ultimate bottom line for Dolan is a sold out Garden...The Knicks probably has the most fans on the planet...I had a friend in from Tokyo who wanted to see the Knicks play...We are screwed as Knicks fans if you are thinking about rebuilding...So go out and root for your team to win...It don't make a difference psyching yourself out thinking good will come if we lose...

If we lose, Isiah gets fired(good) and some other schmo, will be here to Starphuck some more....That rhymes....

Whats to refute?..I agree...and I'm sure not sure what you mean by me not supporting what I'm saying...You really want me to go on about why I think Dolan don't want to rebuild or why I believe rooting for the Knicks to lose is a lost cause?
