Man theres so many threads, I've tried to read them all, but am I the only one who thinks that benching Marbury in the first place is a mistake? Its the 6th game of the year, seems like Zeke is grasping at straws.
That being said, hopefully this is the first move in blowing it up.

I called it a couple days ago. I said benching Marbs would lead to this. There is another thread that someone started, that states how brilliant a prediction this was. You should check it out.
I just hope that people will like me

I don't buy any of this. I think what this really means is that Zeke is feeling the fire, so he's passing the buck to Marbury. I think Marbury will outlast Zeke. This is a stunt. Zeke will try to make ammends with Steph at some point when he thinks he's made a mistake.
It'd be nice if Dolan would just fire Zeke and make Steph go home for the year and we'll call him if we need to trade his expiring deal next year.
this is clearly Dolan's decision... Isiah's got no choice but to listen... Dolan is sick of the same old garbage every year... he probably told Isiah he was sick of Marbury & wanted to go in another direction.

how is it clearly Dolan's decision? in all seriousness? I didn't see anything like that. because he leaked the story to the daily news?

because by Isiah benching Marbury, he's in effect admitting that he made a huge mistake in ever bringing him here to begin with... he cashed in all of his chips to bring his boy here, it doesn't make sense to me that he would phase him out now... IMO this was all Dolan's doing & Isiah's only following orders to save his own hide.

How many draft picks and trade assets did we give up for this guy?!?!
We still have another draft pick to give up, within' the next few years. We payed badly for him AND Curry.
Oh god, you're right. I thought it was only 1 1st round pick but it was actually TWO 1st round picks! I think Isiah also included at least one 2nd rounder, expiring contracts, and young players who then had trade value!

Isiah *had* to know something like this would happen if he benched Marbury considering how well they know each other. Maybe he wanted it to come to this?

Hmm. I don't buy that it's Dolan. I still think it's Isiah feeling the heat from Dolan and trying to shake up the team. He probably knew Marbury would overreact at first but eventually come to terms with it. I'm sure Marbury will be playing sometime right after Thanksgiving and "all will be forgiven" in public. I still say Marbury outlasts Isiah.

I've gotta be honest. I've been having a REALLY good day today.

Give it a few years and it'll be Zach and Isiah fighting (unless Isiah's replaced by the next lousy GM by then)
Can't we just hire Kiki and JVG?
You think those guys are dumb enough to choose to be a part of this organization?
both of those guys have a long history with the team and love it. i think they'd come under the right circumstances. it'd be easier to get them if Stern suspended Dolan from having any contact with the team or something.
