dude, you're rambling about nonsense right now... stick to the topic... the reason people criticize Marbury is because he's a part of the Knick franchise & he has big expectations on his shoulders that he's never been able to deliver on... add to that fact the idiotic things & empty promises he's made in the media over the years & you have your reasons... the color of his skin has absolutely nothing to do w/this, but you keep trying to make it the one & only issue... that's what's so laughable about your comments to me... i've talked to several black Knick fans at the Garden & almost everytime Marbury comes up in the conversation, people universally acknowledge Marbury's talent but hate the fact that he just doesn't get it when it comes to what it takes to be a winner in the NBA... i guess those black Knick fans must not have been those kids from the streets who respect Marbs you're referring to, i dunno... i for one respect the hell out of Marbury for his skills, his talent & his very charitable donations he's made over the years to worthy causes... it's not his skills or his quality as a human being that i'm criticizing here if you hadn't noticed.

btw, Isiah Thomas is my favorite PG of alltime... doesn't mean i can't criticize him when it's warranted for some of the roster decisions he's made since he's been here... does that make me a racist? i hardly think so.

Patrick Ewing. His rep has been growing quite nicely since Marbury been a Knick. Almost to the point of folklore.

Dude, i've praised Marbury ad nauseum about his charitable donations & his basketball skills... i've said i thought he had a good heart so many times i don't even know when to begin... ask anyone here about that & they'll confirm that for you... you're a newbie here, so i think you need to relax with the baseless acccusations until you get to know a few of the people on this forum & what they really stand for, instead of casting your own aspersions as to what their opinions are when you really don't know what they are to begin with.

How about the money he sent to the Katrina victims in New Orleans. Homless black and white people.Thats what Marbs did. He made a lot of people better. I also think he made Crawford the basketball player better. But Marbs is more than that.

We had the worst perimeter defense in the entire league last year and Marbs was a huge part of that. Very odd perceptions of Marbury, who is a lot further past his prime and into his decline than guys that lovers like to poke fun at, like Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

Does being a hater interfere with reading comprehension skills? Show me where I said "best season". Thats the problem with ya'll, your mind is already made up. No room for actual critical thinking.

I get it, he is the worst point guard in the world, and he is also the worst person in the world. Any contrary opinion and we get the 'LOLzzz, you are in love with Marbury and Isiah'...yak, yak. Ish is old.

The best season part wasn't specifically directed at you. It's been said MANY times on this forum. Frankly, calling a guy who can't keep his yap shut, still doesn't get 'it' and obviously on the decline in his career and actually saying he had a good season, when he didn't... well it's just offensive to my intelligence as a fan. Sorry, Marbury wasn't terrible last year, but he wasn't that good either. About 50% of the games we played last year featured point guards who are better players at this point in their careers than Marbury is at this point in his career.

Not in case sebstar's lack of comprehension got in the way. I said LOVERS and I don't believe that is sebstar. Then again who knows.

It's that simple. It's in black and white. Now some of you may say, but Latrell was outspoken and brash and had cornrows and he was one of the most loved Knicks of the past 20 years. Irrationally loved. But I don't care about that. I care about Marbs. Marbs does not deserve criticism. So;
