With the 19th overall pick, the Lakers select Javaris Crittenton!



I reviewed with my girlfriend, and while Jason Smith would be a good choice for the Lakers, the Lakers top priority is a front court defender. They don't consider Smith to be such. So, their second most pressing need is a good point guard. The most popular choice seems to be Javaris Crittenton, so I'm going to go with him.

However, if they trade Kobe on draft night, all of this is null and void, since their plans completely change depending on who they get in return, so this is under the assumption that they're not trading Kobe.

Ugh. I pasted the wrong link because the first pic didn't work.... Ugh ugh ugh. I'll fix it. Boy does that make me look dumb.

I'm trying to help the team through toughness, charachter, size, effec iency, basketball IQ, a winning mentality team play--no prima dona's like Williams--that's why they werent sad to see him leave at AZ and certainly he didnt make a talented team better. Two things that Noah and Dudley did for their teams lead play great % ball with toughness leadership and win a LOT of games.

The Hawks are seriously considering Horford with the third pick in the June 28 NBA draft, a team that has drafted five forwards consecutively with first-round picks dating back to the 2003 draft. - Atlanta Journal Constitution

Not picking Conely at #3 would tell you that the hawks management after drafting 5 fwds consecutively is still smoking crack and not trying to compete with acquiring the right chemistry for their ball club.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. They need help in their frontcourt more than another shooter.

But then again it's Nellie and he'd probably prefer playing 5 guards.

They are trying to ship Richardson, so maybe they can get a big for him. Morris Almond would flourish in that type of offense.

why take a less talented troy murphy?

gsw needs someone who can consistently hit a jumper, not just streak shooters like they have right now.
