I, for one, didn't see too many others trying to take over the game or even give a decent effort. We can talk all we want about "making others better" but then again it also takes each person individually to take some initiative to help win the game. Not one person out there was aggressive on the offensive end and they all seemed so hesitant to shoot. And dont pretend they didn't have the chance because thats bull. So if the bottom line about this game is that Marbury took the last shot and lost it, then just the same he won us the last two.

Hey, he's the starbury man. He's suppose to carry us like he said he always has to a few years back, when he was bragging about what a super star starbury he was. I hold him to that. In my book it either put up or shut up! He's got to shut up now and his biggest fans (that would be you) has got to pipe down a little and just take it like a man.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I actually feel bad for Steph, he put the team on his back tonight and played his butt off. It would have been nice if he could have made that free-throw, he's earned it after the way he's played the last few games.

Sounds like a story of............some great American! What did he earn? You put him on the line. If he hits it, it's earned. If he misses, then it's a no brainer, right? The only reason he looks like he's playing like a warrior is the fact that Crawford is out with injury, so starbury gets to show everyone how he carries the team on his back! Oh man.......................

I don't think D lost us this game. The D wasn't airtight, but nonetheless Earl Watson played over his head and Allen and Lewis hit a bunch of tough, well contested shots in the 4th.

The offense in this game is what was subpar. Because Curry is such a poor passer, immediate double teams basically neutralize his presence on offense. Compound that with the absence of Jamal's jumper and quickness (compared to slugs like Q and Francis), the absence of Lee's offensive rebounding, and the absence of Frye's basketball spirit, and basically we are left with Marbury and not much else on O. The poor FT shooting hurt, but it wasn't like a freak accident or anything-- the two guys who hurt us at the line were Curry and Jeffries, who've both struggled from the line all season.

The Knicks would have won 'all' of they're games if they hit every free throw, every field goal, if they stopped the opposing team from scoring virtually any' points at all! But it just didn't pan out.

This is the point the media has been making for years, when frustrated he gets his and makes nobody around him better. Might be time for him to write on his starbury kicks..... I BALL ALONE

I think Steph did what was needed to win the game. He passed the ball but no one else was doing anything with it or if they were, they were not hitting their freethrows. IMO it is unfair to try and throw the loss back on Steph because he had good stats. He was trying to win the game, not trying to build his stats.

Marbury wasn't hogging it. His shots came in the flow of the offense and he took over when we needed it in the 4th.

But he didn't win the game!

There's this notion that starbury went out and put everything he had to win the game and no one helped out at all, so super star starbury has to do it all by himself. And then he has a chance to at least tie it and blows it! Oh yeah' let's forget about that' and blame everyone else! Good one!!!

Face it people. He blew it when it counted the most. And we lost!

steph is playing with his heart on his sleeve. the knicks are inches away from a playoff spot...and he is the only one laying it out there in these crucial games. he did miss a free-throw that he probably wishes he could take again. But hey.... just gotta win some games now that much more. if anyone is going to talk trash about steph... you are just hating just to hate. respect the only guy playing right now...like he wants to be in the playoffs. i really hope he does get the knicks in this year. i really do.

um, what Marbury had been doing the previous 47 minutes were the only reason he was in a position to TIE the game (not win it) at the end anyway. Not that I expect to get through to you, but whatever.

Try piss poor, he turns the ball over way too much, it's not all on him the other players needs to stop ball watching and make cut to the basket and move in space so he can see them to make the pass.
