David Lee won this game for us folks. That offensive rebound made it all possible. :)

I'm digging Curry's game more and more, but it was nice to see Frye, Lee and Q in the fourth. Frye and Lee can't completely handle their business yet, but I believe they will in the future. It's nice to see them working together with extremely important minutes.

Killa, Holfresh, and Oohah was that good enough D?

Well yeah, but this wasn't a god game for him, we gave up a million offensive boards and he wasn't stopping that, but he got the one that counted. only 4 rebounds overall. Also, he gave away alot of points on D, Turiaf was looking like Karl malone out there.

If this game is tied or worse going into the final minute the game is over because of Kobe.

I keep telling you, this team is on the right track.

The track to where exactly?

Playoff contention first. If they can add a big player, championship contention.

How do you propose they acquire that "big player"?

ON the track to making you a very unhappy camper.

You are pretty mad the knicks won, huh?

Not particularly.

Respectability then playoffs...Baby steps is how you build a winning situation...

Right, that's how you build one.

As I've said, Isiah's inefficient management has made that tough. It may not happen. But he has begun to lay a good foundation.

Killa I know Lee's game better than anyone. The other night he had 15 points and 11 boards and played like a donkey. Tonight he played one of his better games of the year defensively and he never guarded Turiaf. You need to recognize how a guy plays and not just stats. I know for a fact odom had maybe 2 in the 4th quarter. The bottom line Frye and Lee play well together.

I'm talking about his points, not his boards. I was making 2 seperate points 1) we gave up alot of offensive boards, and 2) Ronny Turiaf scored too many points.

What's the point of a good foundation if you don't leave yourself the resources to build something on it?

Because of Isiah's insufficient management, do you have any confidence that he'll be able to turn them into championship contenders?

Kobe not taking the last shot.

Dude, if that's how it plays out, you may be right, but let's see what happens. Maybe Frye can be packaged for SF.

I wouldn't say I have confidence, but I think the Knicks are in better shape than they have been since the Ewing era came apart.

I am gaining some hope.

Yeah he played great in the 4th, just not throughout. I'm not focussing on the stats, look through this thread, I watched the entire game, althoug I must admit I wasn't focussed in on Lee the way you and others probably were.

I do know point blank that we gave up way too many boards and thats supposed to be his thing. This game would have been much easier without giving them so many buckets.

Yeah Frye and Lee do play well together, on an average night with that many touches, Frye would have had 20 and Lee woulda had 10 rebounds.
