How about "Fernwood2nite" with Martin Mull and Fred Williard?

Happy Kline and the Myrth Makers!

James at 16?

Happy Kyne, actually (aka Fred Duvall). What a riot he was. I loved when Martin Mull would interview Happy, and Happy was always so serious and gloomy. I also loved the big headphones Happy would wear while orchestrating. And how about when Mull would drink cans of beer on the set and then toss the empties behind him.

Extra credit for anyone who can name the show that Fernwood Tonite spun off from.

"Mary Hartman, "Mary Hartman" !!!!!

That was a riot!

You got it, Nalod! Awesome show.

Do you remember when someone on the show died when he fell asleep at the dinner table and drowned in a bowl of chicken soup? My father called that!!!!!!!!!

and always with his "lovely wife, Cora!"

and "mary Hartman," I can still picture Louise Lasser's teeth, but I cannot remember the story lines and had no idea Fernwood tonight came from there. That makes no sense to me!

I think you're right, but as long as we're on the subject; I just like to send out a congratulations to Fred and Ida Woodstern from Bayone on their 73 wedding anniversary....

OMG I don't think I've seen that movie since 1981. I remember the excitement in the theater when we were all sitting in Manhattan waiting for a movie about Manhattan as a prison to start!

Somewhat tying this back to the Knicks, Louise Lasser (MH2) was who's second wife?

"Holy Cow, look at the time, White! It's almost 8 o'clock! I'd better get outta here and head for the Bridge! You and Mess can handle the final 8 1/2 innings without me, right?"

Man, that guy could play defense. He had those long arms and would get so many steals in Hubie's full-court trap.
