sebstar - well said.

The same people who absolutely adore the young frontcourt and its possibilities, including the versatile David Lee and the sweet shooting Channing Frye, are the same people who never... EVER... acknowledge the vision to draft hem both.

For them Eddy Curry is s useless and lazy bum.

Marbury the anti-Christ.

"I got some guys who don't know where the shot clock is"

"These guys just don't quit," he said. "They keep fighting back and guys are pretty exhausted and tired and just kept fighting. I'm very, very proud to be associated with these young men trying to find themselves in this league."

few people criticize IT's eye for drafting talent, not sure who you're referring to

let's see them win some real games. that goes for the whole team, but especially for those "franchise players," incidentally some of the ones who don't seem to come to play every night.

Eddie Curry has been out of shape most of his career. He himself admitted it this year. But when someone points it out they are called a Net fan. Is it really that everyone hates these guys or you just overreact to every single criticism without taking note of who is saying it, what their position has been in the psat and the point they are trying to make. I like Curry. I have never been a hater, but have also said he is fat and out of shape many times. He got into shape this year and you haven't heard it from me. I know many people who carry the same view. We call it the way we see it.

Now I agree with you guys, there are people on this site that will never give Isiah, or marbs or Curry and some of the others credit when they deserve it because they dislike them. I find it just as annoying as you do. But I think you go overboard and lump anyone that criticizes any player on the team as a hater. It's boring. That's probably how you spend 50% of your time on the board. Let it go.

My take on Isiah is simple. I like the young players he's brought in here. My favorite Knick is Channid Fryelee. I like the progress Curry has made. I like Balkman, and although I would definitely have taken Marcus over Balkman, I have never criticized Zeke for the pick. I love his decisions. That being said, I do not feel he is the guy to finish the job. I have seen too many mistakes to trust him to finish the job. I dont' hate him. That's just my opinion.
I just hope that people will like me

JoeC - don't look now but this young team is playing NOTHING like the Larry Brown Knicks. Check the record at this time last season dude....

and no, Isiah will not bench David Lee as Larry unceremoniously did during the six game streak.

this Knicks squad is starting to play like a team

deal with it

Still four or five wins ahead of last year's record.

The team is playing good-I didn't say they weren't, but quit talking down to people, it makes you look ignorant.

Nothing like Larry Brown's Knicks?

They are passing the ball.
They are playing D.
They are using their defense to key a running offense.
They are rebounding.
They are blocking shots.
They are taking good shots, for the most part.

Yeah, right. Nothing like Larry wanted them to play, nothing at all.

Since LB had 13 wins for a 13/21 record after his 6 game streak and Thomas is at 13-17 without a 6 game streak I would say he has surpassed Larry's best already.

And Thomas has faced as much or more adversity.

Do you think Isiah will match Larry's worst: 10 games lost in a row, 9 games lost in a row (twice) 7 games lost in a row etc.?

I doubt he will match Larry's worst.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Yes ignorant. You call people out, and feel like you have to talk down to them when they come back at you with a simple thing called facts. You ignore actual facts, treat you're own opinion as such, and then talk down to other people.

You called people out just because the Knicks happen to be doing good the past 3 games. Fact: The Knicks had a 6 game winning streak under LB. Fact: You called out people you classify as "haters". Fact: You presented nothing more than opinion. If you can't handle actual counter arguments, don't try provoking to begin with.

If LB really wanted them to play like that, he would have started his best players instead of AD and Rose, or at the very least, stuck with what was working when he finally landed the 6 game streak. Instead, he decided to go with what doesn't work.

So I would have to wonder if LB really wanted them to play like that.

Hey, Captain Happy decided to call out all the "haters". I don't disagree with anything you said, but before we start proclaiming these Knicks to be anything more than riding a streak is ridiculous. They are playing good basketball. I just wanted to point out they played well-for a stretch- during our worst season in years. It happens. I'm going to give it a few more games before I get over excited and start calling people out.
